it was entertaining enough for me to want to see the next ep. the character design for the girl with the sword in the op is good. plus the crying loli was a +

On a scale of 1-10 in interest its a 7 for me world destruction was a 6.
The setup is nice I want to see how it all works out.

I finally got myself to watch episode one(I didn't really have time since I was repeatedly playing True Remembrance over and over again, yes, that is best novel I read; and I have read a lot.) Probably going to be one of the better if not best shounen in this season, do note that this is my opinion(Yes, I am fully caught up to this novel). On the other hand, ZOMG MOE MISAKA, OMAFUACKINGGOD MOE INDEX.

Edit: Seeing Index hanging there again just reminded me of Yuyuko. Totally mind raping.

First episode was great. I'm not much of a lover for the ED though. I read the manga up till chapter 10, but it was a bit boring for me to read. So I'll be watching the anime from now on

I absolutely loved the 'jerkiness' on the other hand I think it adds some spice and flavor it would be lacking otherwise. All in all, i absolutely loved the opening - probably one of my favorite openings of this season (and in general as well). I am quite fond of Shana openings as well, so this was a nice treat for me

i lol'd at how wrong i was to think Mikoto was the one he was trying to protect. When it turns out it was the other way around XD
that's when it started to kick-in for me. This season seems to be filled with kikck-ass girls which is win in my book. Touma being a bonus. I hope he doesn't disappoint my expectations from him, rarely few male leads get an expectation from me. One being Kazuma Yagami.

Touma somehow reminds me of Ueki thou

Did find it funny how the situation was completely opposite from how I thought. No way would Mikoto need protection from guys like that . Sadly it didn't change the result and instead got Mikoto focused on setting the score with Touma at some point.

Kazuma was definitely one heck of a male lead. There were enough moments in the first episode to have a good expectation for Touma. Though would also expect to see a lot of complaining about his misfortune..
