It already reached Aqua... Now, they just need to send the box back to you... in a few years...

Come on
I don't want a remake of the Episode 4 of the Animation with my-great-great-great-children receiving this box.
I know that the Aria box can convey feeling across time
but Hell it's mine and mine alone.
Yes my precious come.

Just got mine. Haven't tried to play it yet though. Nice artwork on the box and the dvds I must say.

Oh yeah, bitches. It's arrived!
I promised myself I wouldn't watch this or play AC6 until I wrapped up my deadlines, though ;_;
But it's so... so tempting.

Couldn't stand it ... re-installed my DVD software (ptui on WMP) and it works fine.

Watched the first two episodes and my blood pressure fell to Aqua levels....

Now of course, I'm behind in homework....

Maybe I'll watch more ARIA tonight instead of the debates....

While waiting for my precious i noticed that Rightstuf made a big overhaul of the Aria homepage.

http://aria.rightstuf.com/

I'm impressed by the time they spend on it.

Yeah, seems they put a lot of thought into it. I wouldn't discount the possibility that some of the staff might love the series themselves, but that might just be wishful thinking on my part. I didn't notice the left hand menu at first, and took me a while to figure out that I had to flip the card to view things :P

What has me intrigued is the merch page. Says "coming soon". Other than the obvious T-Shirts, I wonder what else we can expect? (OSTs, please! I don't mind buying some a second time ).

EDIT: Any reviews from major DVD distributors worth noting? They've got one on rightsutf:

Not a review, per-se, but damn, this beat out Higurashi :P

EDIT: Oh yeah, 13+ rating. What's up with that?

The 13+ rating sounds more like a suggested "if you're younger there's a good chance you might be bored senseless because you're too young to understand nostalgic feelings."

On the Rightstuf website.... wow... well, I think we know the website people at least love ARIA....

Usually I find these flash heavy sites tasteless, but this has to be one of the best I've seen. Those postcard things are a very nice touch. Of course it could be that I'm biased in favor of anything Aria related.

Poster books I'd want, but I've already got those undine monthly.
What about coffee mugs or those nifty looking aria themed ties they have over on hlj?

Hmmm... read this.
Do you work for rightstuf, btw?

I kind of feel the postcards are a bit of a tease for those who didn't get'em :V
Oh well, they'll just have to wait for the fake ones to pop up at conventions.

All the official avatars for any series licensed by rightstuf (on the series sites) have the site name on them somewhere.

Ordering the ANIMATION hours after it was announced directly from the licensor: gratifying
Waiting 3 times as long for shipping than it took for my VF-25 model from Japan: irritating
Finishing my latest Aria cycle the day before my DVD's arrive: inspiring
Paying 26% duty to Canada Customs: infuriating
Ripping through 5 layers of packaging: exciting
Popping in the DVD and hearing the familiar "ha-hi!": soothing, calming, relaxing and utterly satisfying
