The main character looks weak in comparison to Touma, Quenser, Shinobu.... maybe he is some kind of genius that outclasses gods? Or some walking hax in regards to luck (the total opposite of Touma

). Expecting him to be a determinator since that is a common trait that the other mentioned share.

No, it's more like I'm expecting it in two or three days, not today.

After all, Simple Survey took around the same time.

Plus there's no guarantee they wouldn't reuse the old illustrations anyway.

Unfortunately.... determinator is the best thing that can describe him... and...

Anyway I believe we should be looking at Waltraute herself if we need a primary protagonist for her series, since I suppose we have been a... bit too spoiled with Kamachi's male leads a tad too much.

Besides, apart from his wits and... err... youkai harem, Shinobu doesn't seem to have much going...

Patience is a virtue, guys. But if you can't wait for the cover pic to be released why not go read through the best parts of NT4. Or, since it's Ichihanaransai in this(?) volume why not imagine your favorite girls in yukatas and trying to drag Touma everywhere. This should kill two birds with one stone. It will distract you until the cover's released and you can idulge yourselves in your own deluded fantasies

You can blame the lateness of the new Index volume cover for that... and they were too fixated on that, that somehow they do not care that Kamachi-shi have a lot of things in store... I guess?
