LOL maybe he should end the manga with a cliffhanger... "and Ichigo continued training, hoping that some day he would become strong enough to defeat Aizen".
Well that sucked. I guess I can't compare with Kubo's pro cliffhangers, but I think I at least got the trolling spot on. |

Quite well - although I'd really like to see the powers of some of the better shinigami and vizard (and Ryuuken), due to Kubo's recent curveball-throwing training in his psychedelic condensed time tunnel (where do you think he got that idea), I wouldn't be too surprised if that happened.

You do realise that Kubo, realising that he lacks a job without Bleach, is going to make the final fight between Aizen and Ichigo drag on for at least a year, if not two? (with several months' worth of Yammy fighting in the middle). Either that, or it's going to turn out that Aizen was working for some higher power, even more powerful and evil than him, and the fight against them will take some time, allowing Kubo to come up with his next decade-long project.

Kubo has written himself into a corner, unless Ichigo turns out to be an incarnation of god then, any way Aizen is defeated that does not include Aizen blowing up from a power overload surpassing the limits god put on the universe will be complete bullshit

Seems to me as the only logical conclusion at the moment, as he has no weakness and "surpassed" all that is known, can't see any other way he would meet his demise.

Maybe the relative weakness and slowness of Ichigo's bankai (ever since beating Byakuya) is because he's no longer going for the full release routine, just focusing on the shape and some of the effects of his bankai, not properly focusing and condensing his reiatsu as he did when he first released it (Byakuya had time to monologue) - that time, there was a huge dust cloud surrounding him, but other times there's only the pose. Also, the bone-breaking effect of the compression no longer occurs, perhaps suggesting he's not got the proper bankai, instead using an imitation.

^ Thats what i was thinking. After all Hichigo did say that Ichigo had let the power of his Bankai crush him. I think he has been holding back for a while, that way he can fight longer without the penalties.

Mr. Just-as-planned will lose to Ichigo on purpose. At least, that's what I've always hoped for. |

Just-As-Planned will implode courtesy of the hougyoku because it will decide that it wants to parasite off Ichigo's wishes instead. That's how all bad guys in these sorts of things wind up. They fall victim to their own power.
