That is not possible considering the length of manga now. Don't think Madhouse have that kinda budget to mimic manga story.

I'd give it a 6/10

Yeah the story is good but really straightforward. It just wasn't interesting enough for me, there was no twists and turns, it is pretty much just kill stronger and stronger awakened beings. And Claire wasn't even the best character in the series, she just felt disconnected from everything, as if she didn't even care. The best character is easily Teresa. The animation is good, the action scenes are good until the last couple of episodes, which everything goes to hell....and that ending is a joke.

I really liked the whole series and wished that it would not have ended so

early. I must clarify that I did not enjoy the final episode.I give it 7/10.

The final episodes did kind of ruin the whole story as many would agree, I never would have thought about reading the manga but once I did I found the continued story to be way better!

Up until the terrible anime ending, the show is classic. Plenty of gore, hot Claymore women, and excellent characters. The villains are deep and manage to evoke empathy while still being ruthless. The Teresa arc was just stunning and cements Teresa as the best character in this series. Music is good, but the animation can be a bit inconsistent.

Well, i just finished watching this a couple of days ago. It was a weird ride this one. During the first 2 episodes I was like "Seems interesting enough" . During the Teresa arc my opinion changed to ":O:O:OMG this is awesome". After that ended, my opinion of the show started going downhil

, and the horrible ending didn't help at all.

So, i'll give it a 7/10

Couple last episodes indeed sucked. I really got annoyed by Raki. Don't know about manga but I'd prefer Clare killing Priscilla. Although the couple last episodes weren't so good I did enjoy the fight with the Lion King.
Oh btw is there going to be a second season? It seemed like it could continue since Easley escaped with Priscilla.

There isn't going to be a second season. If you want to find out what happens read the manga it is different then the anime and it goes farther, and its still going.

Yay 1st post!
I voted for a 7/10 out of ten. The animation was really good but after seeing Teresa's head chopped off for the millionth time and Raki saying "Clare" with his annoying accent really drove me nuts. The ending was also disappointing, but other than that... it was really good!
Can't wait for season two (if there is one)!

Well, I finally finished this show. Only took 8 months in anime club to finish it. Ah well. XD Better than the year and a half for Death Note or the year for Gurren Lagann

Anyways, this show had some really bright spots and a definately exciting feel to it. Crazy sword attacks, dramatic storyline, seperation, fights, it was all there. The main character wasn't particularly pretty for me, but Teresa certainly was.

There were a few downsides, though. For one, the continual repetition at dramatic moments got to be really annoying. Like...
Clare: "What is his name?"
Dweller: "Easly of the north"
Clare: "Easly of the north..."

It just got on my nerves. The last episode also didn't resolve really anything at all, and was a pretty weak ending in my opinion. I for one didn't mind the plot of 21-25, though I think Clare's awakening taking that long got to be a little rediculous.

Though they did succeed in making me feel really bad for priscilla. Though her "not fully awakened" plot twist was just stupid.

@Kristen: You sound like someone who would DEFINITELY enjoy the manga!

But the anime is a good entry point to the manga IMO.

It's no surprise that always people find Teresa's arc to be excellent. Teresa is just awesome!

Also another thing Spoiler for certain character: because of the anime Raki turned out to be the most useless character in the story, he did nothing and I just ended up thinking what a waste of a character, until I read the manga atleast he is alittle more interesting there.
