If you're refering to the h00rjforce subs, we ended up subbing it with the first 640x480 raw that we got our hands on. So by 'Better raw' you meant the 640x480, you're golden, if not, whoops, we missed a better one.

It's not 90MB due to horribleraws, I assure you.

Ah, yeah. When I MediaInfo'd it, I found out I was wrong. Good catch, disregard, I suck co.. well, you know the rest.
There is a better "raw" (I'm pretty sure it's upscale/fake) on share atm.

Wow. It's really strange with this one. Because I dismissed Himamari Sketch when it first aired until today. But now with this well done prequel, I might go back and catch it all up. It IS Shaft and Shinbo, so maybe I shouldn't have been too quick about dissing it the first time around.

Among the new series I've watched Hidamari is surely the best. Man, I laughed hard, really a good good start. SHAFT know how to do their damn job.

I had no idea the first episode was going to tell the story of Yuno's first day at Hidamari apartments. That was a lovely surprise. Does make me wonder if the show will carry on with this timeline, or do the same as the first series, and go out of order.

Miyako is even more wonderful then before. I'm telling you i could watch a full 21 minutes of just her sat in a room, going about her daily routine.

Sequel? This felt more like a prequel to the first season Or is that an effected they are intending to make

But another good start...the style looks more "pushed out there" than usual with the split second cut scenes and whatnot. It's great to see everyone back and I know they will have lots of fun (and I will enjoy watching this).

I just finished watching ep1, wow it blew me away. I really liked the first series so I was anxiously awaiting this one. I know it's only 1 episode in but I'm already liking this more than the first series. Now I'm really looking forward to episode 2+.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. When I wasn't smiling, I was coming close to tearing up. Seeing Yuno's entrance exam, etc., and arrival at Hidamari was just amazing. What a cast. What a script. What art. What a Shinbo.

I just love the voice of Yuno's mom, Michiko Neya. She was Riza Hawkeye in FMA, Melissa Mao in FMP, and played Ninomiya-kun's tough sister in Goshūshō-sama Ninomiya-kun.

I also felt as if there was something even better about this ep than what I remembered of the original. I checked, and see that Shinbo is listed as the only director or this series, whereas he appears to have been co-director of the OVA and just supervising director of the original series, which was directed by Kamitsubo Ryouki. Not sure if that actually made any difference, but it struck me, anyway.

Also enjoyed marble's ED. Not so much the cast's OP.

Yep, and I daresay this is the most awesome episode of any show this week, kicking away that Macross Frontier shitfan-fest like a little critter.

When I saw Ume-sensei crawling up the beam, a wave of nostalgia hit me, considering she wasn't shown prior to that scene. All the little things thereafter, like how the Miya-chan and Yunocchi came about, rode the crest of that wave until the X-chi came out. And then the countdown. What. A. Catharsis.

^Shinbo wins. And hits Zetsubou-sensei out of the ballpark!
