good points except i think Cruz has handled all the cooking since the second time. Considering Mio's stew included rocks, living grubs, dead bats, and what I think was a devil's skull.
dont feel too badly for cruz he's not exactly blind to blade and eve's attitudes and personality flaws Spoiler for cruz's memories:
but he remembers their good moments too Spoiler for needless good memoires:
at the end of the day, still wants to be with them Spoiler for smile with those memories:
Thats just Cruz's character: the normal minded person in a world full of mass murdering psychopaths and good natured fruit loops Last edited by shadowii; 2009-12-10 at 12:50. |

Was an interesting ending. I didn't hate it, but I wish they stuck to the manga and kept making more. I guess it's better than just ending it with PF Blast and then never making more if that was the alternative.
Guess that's it aside from the BD specials. |

Aruka wasnt manipulated, its like i expected, and as her character is in the manga as well. She follows Arclight believing he will be the next Christ.
Following the wrong guru id say ^^. Well the ending isnt all that bad. Perhaps it gives some sort of window to what to expect in the manga but the manga is way more developed then this. The characters got way more spirit in the manga... as usual with manga->anime adoptions. Ofc he calls him Cruz now, in the manga the same thing will happen once hes no more the spineless whiner :P |

just like how it didnt follow to the pf zero (and certain characters have had quite a development since then), i would not look to this episode to expect how the manga will turn out much like soul eater and claymore, where the mangas are going in very different directions form where the animes ended. and fullmetal alchemist that was so different they made a second anime series to follow the manga (that frankly is far too rushed ) but arclight did end up as a legless mess either way (think they borrowed that from the manga) gotta admit though, like that ending sequence and last frame (not so much the cape on him) Last edited by shadowii; 2009-12-10 at 16:51. |

Was wondering in that episode it seemed like Aruka was talking about Cruz having some kinda fragment but im fairly sure when Cruz talked to "Blade" at the end he said he did not have a fragment.
Guess just have to watch for translated version. Seems the pretty girl squad opened up what do you call them girl bar places... |

either that or his intelligence is his fragment in the anime. Anyways someone has to have the brains to make all the fragments work together or they remain ...fragmented. So that element wasnt that bad.
Its just so different from the manga its hard to say what to do with it...forget it? The only thing that remained was were Cruz had that near death exp again, the only thing thats the same. Well some extend of the 3 girls becomming his friends is sorta likewise. Anyways if the manga gets extreme popular theyll have to re-do it again like what happend with FMA. btw FMA brotherhood isnt all that rushed. They only rushed the parts that were canon. No need to redo that all. |

oh really? was annoyed with how they treated the first few episodes should check it again. I wouldnt say forget just dont think what will happen in the manga is the same because it most likely wont be considering how much more plot has developed in Needless manga. and saten, riru and arclight are very much not dead. i wonder what case anime dressed in girls clothes yamada is investigating. Unfortunately, I'm not seeing the manga get that popular (hell, only 14 chapters have been translated, and we have little word on whether it's continuing to be scanlated)
and I'm just hoping that we get a different ending in the manga- there's still too many mysteries and references that the anime didn't cover. Though, I suspect that because they didn't cover the PF blast and beyond (which is where the real debate about what Cruz might be begins), they made the best with what they had... was the data chip ever explained, or did that get tossed out?

Hey sorry to ask the same question twice but
I was on wikipedia and it said the run of episodes haven't ended However, I just watched Needless episode 24 and found out it's pretty much the ending. Will needless end so quick? I mean I really wanted to see Cruz's fragment. |
