Episode 10

I really appreciate the way the balance the series and not made the "beach" episode a disaster full of fan service... anyway...

Maki, Nozomi and Nico really stand out in this episode.

Maki and her seemingly "always serious face" is eye catching and funny.

Nozomi is like the "mother" of the group, giving and advicing the group, seeing them from the inside and helping them overcome it..

Nico.. cute.. I( want to hug her and assure her that he has unique charms of her own...

Honoka.. you really love the beach that much? Lols so do I!!!!

Love Live Life 10 - The Great Pillow War of 2013

I wouldn't have minded a little more fanservice. Or a little more Nico. Sora Tokui has great potential as a comedic actor, and I don't want that to go to waste. (It goes without saying that a little more Nico fanservice isn't so bad either.) The whole idea of not adhering to the conventions of Japanese language was a great running thing in the episode, and even though there wasn't much idol stuff, it still provided great character moments for everybody. Which should always be the core of these things. I also love how Nico blends in naturally with Honoka and Rin. The girls can be pretty easily divided into three teams of three, but the combinations are plentiful, really. Next time... Akibastar? (Wait, they already did that.)
