I think some of them could still do it especially since the JP VA's are still the same. The only VA's I think they'd definitely have to change were the ones involved with major controversy like Junpei's VA.

Well, the P3 remake antics have left me at the point I'm not even considering going in on P5R until it's below 30 AUD. If I get gifted it somehow, I'm declining it if the price isn't that low. This nonsense of only giving part of the experience by intention with only an aesthetic new content is a joke and shouldn't be endeared.

I'm definitely not surprised at the voice cast getting switched. Atlus couldn't keep the whole cast together from Persona 4 to Persona 4 Golden. Re-doing things this far after Persona 3 was made with the same cast would have taken a miracle.

It is too bad since I did like some of the voices. If they could have brought back some of them that would have been nice. At the same time...Fuuka's voice wasn't my favourite. So, there are positives here.

Honestly the one thing that has me really excited for this is...a potentially far better translation job. I'm sure they did their best with the original game, but there's probably a lot of room for improvement there. I say potentially since...you never know these days. Kind of makes me eager to give it a shot with the JP voice work.

It's a nice milestone for Persona in general and the Persona 5 gaming collection in particular.

Though again just makes me look forward to news about Persona 6.

$48 on Steam sale and I saw a used PS5 for $22...

I might just wait for this to be 20 instead of 30 if this is what they're pulling...
