The action wasn't as awesome as last time but they did their job.

Good, better to animate novel content than dragging out filler arcs like these. Although I don't know if those novels are actually any good.

Looks like the home media version of the series improved even more the Naruto and Sasuke vs Momoshiki scene

Did they add new scenes or did they touch up the animation? It was already close to perfect as it was.

Guessing this arc ends this month considering the novels start in February.

Good news. This arc has been super disappointing.

Sadly. The only highlight in the entire arc has been Garaga and we don't even know if he is going to stick around or not.

The arc started off alright, but it went on far too long and just doesn't feel like it was worth it

RIP Onoki. At least now, the arc is finally over.

Not entirely, there's the epilogue next week.

I'm surprised they killed off Ohnoki in an anime original arc. It's not like he was a major character, but he was still relatively important during the last arc of Naruto.

This series takes its GX (Next Gen) role a bit too seriously in my opinion. Like, oh, Naruto's story is over, now let's kill off everyone from the generations before Boruto and have them rule the world.

It's just Ohnoki. He was already old in Naruto's time. It wouldn't have been weird for him to die off-screen before Boruto ever made genin, if they'd wanted.

Credit where credit is due, the scene where Onoki's death finally sinks in for Boruto was really well done.

Indeed it was. I liked seeing Mitsuki make graves for the Fabrications too. And in retrospect, it seems obvious but I totally wasn't expecting them to link this arc to Kara. It makes it seem a bit less fillerish... just a bit.

Next week is a Himawari episode. Should be cute. After that is the novels' adaptations, right? Curious to see the Shikamaru one.

It really was. The scene where Mitsuki made graves for the Fabrications was a good scene too as his friendship with them was one of the highlights of this arc for me.

That was a cute episode, as I expected. There were some pretty fun parts too, like Naruto falling for a Sand Village bootleg of Kuraa-ma

The parents/children day continues next ep. This one looks boring though.

Not for the first time, I think power in Konoha is way too centralized. Hire a few more civil servants and let them make some calls instead of having everything go through Naruto. In some stories, the labor shortage is explained by the low literacy rate, but Naruto's just the product of public education, not some uniquely gifted scholar and administrator. I'm sure plenty of other guys could authorize a damn food stall.

Or, again, he could get everything done in a few minutes by just using clones.

Naruto being super busy is just a bad plot device.

Seeing Sasuke try to bond with Sarada and Kakashi trolling him the entire time was pretty funny. It ended on a pretty nice. Awakard dad Sasuke is truly best Sasuke.
