Just gonna say that I loved all of the upgraded rereleases so far. I just wonder how much of an upgrade sapphire and ruby are gonna get.

We think similarly, don't we? Character Customization is just way too much fun.

Even if I was hoping for Gen VII, this'll do nicely. Please just tell me that the story will more closely mirror the RS Arc of the manga...please...

The cover art looks fantastic, though. Loving Kyogre's kickass redesign. I am definitely getting Alpha Sapphire (since I had Sapphire when Gen III first came out)

Although...seeing as it says "New Adventure" and "New World", there is now a possibility that it may not be Hoenn (or at least a different story within Hoenn) at all...well a low possibility but still an existent one...

Just gotta wait until we get more gameplay trailers...

Almost everybody in the hardcore Pokemon fandom has been clamoring for a remake of the third generation, so I think it was kind of inevitable this was going to happen.

I'll certainly get Omega Ruby. It'll be interesting to see an old generation of Pokemon games with the new X & Y upgrades.~

They also said a 'new' world, wonder if this will just ahve the Hoenn region or will have some new content as well?

Just a thought, maybe a mod should merge this thread with the Pokemon X/Y thread and create a [3DS] Pokemon thread for generic discussion and news?

seeing as Mega evolution should be first found in XY region, it might be a sequel instead of remake!

10 bucks says the new continent is created due to Kyogre's and Gordoun's tussle, where you can catch new pokemans.

I think it's possible they get some sort of form change like Giratina, always thought those circular markings were for more than just design.
If Groudon get's a form change, I hope he'll gain fire-type. Eruption stab + Drought.

Gen 3 was kind of the generation where I burned myself out on Pokémon and didn't come back until XY, so it'll be interesting to replay this with all the game mechanic improvements from XY.
