Sadly, unlike fellow drifters, Hijikata would't be so eager to tell History...
Hijikata sure know about guns, He fought with and against them before... Its not surprising for a Drag Lord to have a Gay Sacred Band modeled after The Hieros Lochos of Thebes. The Mercenary-relying Carthage once have Citizen Sacred Band, but they're didn't exist anymore at the time of Hannibal Barca...However, Even those hardened Lovers are surprised of the forceful blast of the Muskets... One thing: Why drifters get no powers corresponding with their life? Heh, several chapters back called "Baby Yetu"...Hirano plays Sid Meier's Civilization! How Surprising! a Fellow Civfanatic... |

Oda Nobunaga send his regards...That doodle on the Gunpowder Keg is just hilarious....
Oh please, Hijikata...you're the Vice-Captain of Shinsengumi, you've fought in Boshin War...Of course all is fair in war, goddamnit! You're not some mere sportsman! Ask the guy from the glorious olden time of Samurai...Oh right, he's currently having a good time at infuriating you... |

Chapter 44
Toyohisa doesn't give a shit if his Nodachi breaks...The Dwarfs can make a new one for him... Hijikata...if you thought battlefield ruses are "unsamuraily" go become a sport Kendoka. Yes, Toyohisa know that he's not a strategist, but he know he can still lead men into battle, and do something as a part of a bigger plan. Shimazu Generals are known for their faint retreats. Are St. Germain's Sacred Band never fought before, or just shocked by the power of Gunpowder? The Octobrist Crystal Ball is also an very important element...This enables Oda to coordinate the troops with such speed - Something which advantage he took the fullest. There is a reason why battles before the 20th century never exceeds 100.000 men per sides, the lack of the means of communication. |

Little fact I learned from my theology class. A lot of theologians believe that Jesus' wrists were nailed instead of his palms. If you're put in his position with your palms nailed, the nails would rip through your hands, but this wouldn't happen with the wrists. Plus, it's also more painful since the wrist is a lump of nerves. |
