Amen to that. Now, if it will ever be the best series in the first round ever, the Suns will have to win their last four straight. But given that it's never been done in the NBA even once, and the fact that the Spurs have the Game 7 at home, I don't see that happening.

Also that Kenny Smith vid was just absolute gold! Thanks for sharing Ice Climbers And for Shiroi Len: I personally think the Kobe vid was fake. He could probably do it but I doubt Kobe's gonna take such a risk like that just to sell some shoes.

Parker totally just exploited the pick and roll in the first two games, and in the second he hit jumpshot after jumpshot after jumpshot. Game over, Suns. Fire Kerr and let O'Neal retire. Your dreams of winning a championship were achievable back when Barkley still led your team. For now, gb2/basketballcamp/.

I don't think Phoenix is in straits that dire. Give them 2 or 3 years and they can easily be a championship contender again. As long as Phoenix have Amare they only need 1 other star and some decent role players to be a contender. Both Nash and Shaq's contracts end within two years, and that will free up like 30 million in salary cap for them to sign good free agents.

The Kurt Thomas trade was worse for the Suns than the Shaq trade. Trading for Shaq was going to be a gamble. Giving away Kurt Thomas just to stay under the luxury cap was going to be painful.
The problem with the Shaq trade was that it greatly exposes the other Suns players' defensive weaknesses. Marion was their best help defender, so he could mask some of the deficiencies. Plus, with Marion, they could run up and down the court. Say what you want about running n gunning in the playoffs, but at least that scheme hid much of their defensive liabilities. Shaq is the one player that will slow down the tempo the greatest that they could have traded for. Yes, he gives the Suns an inside presence, but it's at the cost of slowing their game down significantly. Forced to play a half-court game, the Suns are just going to get exposed on defense. And Hack-A-Shaq is going to make them pay on offense if Shaq can't convert his free throws. |

Kurt Thomas is now with the Spurs, right? Talk about revenge by him.
I think the Heat made a better change. Wade's not bad, but he was slowed down by injuries last year. Marion will help the Heat more in the future compared to Shaq, who is noticeably getting older. I don't mean that Shaq's not good anymore: he is still great and possesses a lot of inside presence, but I don't know why he's rapidly sucking (compared to people like Jabbar, who still averaged about 15-17 points even when he was 40). Anyway, I hope the Rockets win. They're the only underdog I'm really rooting for, because Tracy McGrady needs to win at least one series. And really now, who expects Utah to win the championship?

Rockets lost @@ a close game, but Okur saved Utah, series go back to Houston 3-1
Same goes with Toronto, 3-1 series going back to Orlando man, seems like the Nuggets totally gave up (as shown here) Go LAKERS!! Hawks got a big win though, avoids sweep like many projected ^^
