Laura's actually really old. One of the mysterious things about her is that we don't know her age and a some people describe her as having been around for a long time.

No, she's definitely older than that. The pope at one point says that she has looked the same for the twenty years he has known her. Don't judge by her looks, remember they can be very deceiving in the magic side.

^didn't Laura appear first in book of laws which is Index II? I can't remember her appearing in Index I or for vol 1-6 for that matter.

The wikia lists her for the 24th episode as her debut. I guess it's kind of like how in the anime, Tsuchimikado was there from the beginning, but his actual debut in the LN was in Angel Fall.

Officially her appears in volume 7 of the book (I think), but she makes an appearance at the end of the first season, and also appears in the first volume of the Index manga.

I was worried that they would run out of material after the disappoint Season II Index-tans, but it looks like they're back!

It's definitely worth it to hold off watching this Index-tan until after the movie. The best were the meta jokes

Stuff like Index insisting that she's a movie star and still the main Heroine no matter what anybody says

Kamijou-san officially admitting to his status of Arbiter of Gender Equality

Laura brushes aside all the unanswered questions from the movie

And lastly the asking Kamachi-sensei to privately fund the Third season as well as admitting his demonic writing speed
