Welcome back. Yes it's been 1 years, Finally it will be the last season of symphogear after 7 year (nana wills it).

My favorite scene for this ep:
1. Hibiki transformation
2. Everyone singing together in the 1st episode. (they usually used it in final ep)
3. cannot sing underwater! her gear power will be reduced! --> proceed to blast it into the sky from underwater. I laugh so hard and also amazed at the same time. This is the symphogear that i love all these 7 years.

The question that miku asked in that ferris wheel. Maybe we will get hibiki vs miku again this time but with miku's own will rather than being controlled this time.

Awww I missed you too Runset. Yea I checked the info about it and also I was playing Symphogear XD Unliimited on my phone and where I saw XV logo...I had to come because season 5 is coming back.
Those 3 reason of yours is exactly the same thing I thought of the 1st episode.
That clifhanger at the end is true holy s*"# too.

I know what you mean. Though sadly I think it is the unfortunate effect of how far things have come. The story barely involves the school anymore, they are going global to deal with threats, and the cast has continued to grow. Once we hit 6 Symphogear users the story needed to focus more on them along with Miku and the bridge crew.

Hopefully they can pop up a few more times. Or at least stick an "Anime Janai" into the XV OVAs.

The OP and The ED is good. The ED is much better from my opinion.
Also this week episode........
- Kirika's Henshin sequense is sooo lewd and sexy!!
- Did they blew all the budget !? The fighting sequence is movie quality!!
- Didn't expected for a concert to be in EP 2! YAYYY! It's been since G that we get duet between maria and tsubasa.
- Oh fu** the Noise.....
- It's been 7 years since i feel a sudden mood whiplash like this. This is truly the symphogear that we have been waiting for....

THATTT DAMN VAMPIRE JUST KILLED a BYSTANDER JUST TO MINDBREAK TSUBASA and looks like she was able to planted something in tsubasa's mind in the process.

How we are supposed to wait for another week like this!? Give me the next episode now!!! Also aoi said that in ep 4 there will be something much more heartbreaking than this. Oh well, let's get on with the ride this time.

The one who is able to use the relic left in the end is only hibiki and miku i think. Because they are free from the curse of balal. Just like hibiki who is able to use all the symphogear (in AXZ Vs Adam) maybe miku will be able to use the relic. Of maybe she is being forced or maybe from her own will maybe.

Holy freaking...that was insane! This feels like if you took some of the most insane parts of the first couple seasons (especially S1) and dialed the budget up to 11! This was mindblowing. And much of the reaction comes from the second half of the episode. The first half was great too. Kirika's transformation was excellent. We also got some wonderful close quarters and indoor combat. This wasn't the underwater base indoors where there was some decent room to work with. This was in tight in a ship. And yet Kirika and Shirabe were spectacular. This might be their most beautiful fight in the show. They've had more emotional fights but this was great to watch.

Spoiler for The Second Half:

Holy crap! This is the most evil antagonist we've seen in a while. Fine was pretty evil considering the S1 concert tragedy was her doing. Ver obviously was pretty darn evil with him killing kids and having no issues attacking public places. But this is right up there. This group isn't just evil, but malicious. Now mostly that goes to the creepy vampire girl. But obviously her boss doesn't seem to care about methods. This a great callback to G and how scary an underpowered enemy can be. These alchemists can't beat the main cast head on. But they can screw them up mentally and hurt people who aren't nearly so powerful.

This was a full blown tragedy unseen since S1. Maria was obviously pushing it in G and didn't want to go to these lengths. I'm not even sure Nastassja would have gone this far. She was fine holding hostages, but she didn't tell Maria to slaughter the audience. And no doubt on top of whatever that alchemist did this is a horrible scar on Tsubasa. The only difference is that her partner didn't die in the process.

But this is the most serious the show has been in a long time. It feels weightier in general. Time is moving forward and Chris is heading to the end of her high school career. And I do like that they seem to be pushing Chris/Miku/Hibiki together a bit in the OP and the episode. If they are pulling a lot from S1 then it makes sense. It was the combination of Miku, Hibiki, and Genjuro that pulled Chris into the light.

That was some fucked up shit. That bitch just murdered 100,000 people (maybe some escaped, but I doubt it was very many) just to screw with Tsubasa's head and do... whatever that stained-glass-window-eye thing was. Just... what the fuck.

There was some great stuff from before that in the episode, from lots of adorable Chris to Kirika's remarkably erotic transformation to the ShiriKiri fight against the wolf girl to Maria having apparently told Tsubasa she'd like to "sing with her all night" (if you know what I mean ), but it all gets lost in the shock of that gruesome concert massacre.

I have watched episode 2 now.
I really love it!
The opening looks accurate and the song is touching as hell!
I freaking enjoyed Kirika henshin because its look lewd and I am calling it..."The Dancing pole henshin" Desu! :P
Tsubasa and Maria awesome concept song really touched my heart.
Now the next thing is the big DEJA VU from season 1 episode 1 and yep...this is our 1st time...TSUBASA got snapped big time!
The villian in this season are more ruthless, brutal and played dirty especially Millaarc. What is funny is Millaarc Vampire and yet she doesn't drink blood.
Poor Tsubasa...she needs the strength to know what she is fighting for again.
Now the ENDING song was top notch because this all about the heaven and god theme that represent them how far they go after all the 4 seasons.
It is time for the girls to surpass their limits!

- OP/ED really give a different feeling this time. More serious.
- Kirika's henshin is so awesome. Fun fact: Staff said it was the edited/censored version of the original one they made.
- They are really creative with Kirika and Shirabe's fighting choreography.
- Eliza/Elsa (Werewolf) seems to be the nicest villains we get in this season. I like her fighting style.
- Damm....Vampire girl is pure evil. I was wondering how can they make villains of this season become any threat to our powerful Symphogear users......... So they are willing to go all out in playing dirty eh?
- S.O.N.G might be blamed for their failure to protect people and get shutdowned after this.

It just goes to show the damage possible when these villains actually want to kill innocent people. Of course Fine showed that in Episode 1. Regular Noise or Alca Noise, it doesn't matter. One touch and people are dead. It's a miracle or lucky break that previous plans rarely involved such methods. Maria didn't want to touch that situation in G. Carol didn't need to in order to establish her plan in GX. And Adam just wanted the Symphogears gone so they wouldn't disrupt his plans.

This group is terrifying. They are weaker than the main cast, but willing to do whatever it takes to advance their plans. All that death just to do whatever Millaarc did to Tsubasa. 100,000 dead just to set up a plan and probably mess with Tsubasa's head. This situation is sending things into total crisis mode. They can't wait for the Illuminati to make their next move...SONG needs to get ahead of them ASAP.
