Read the first chapter, putting aside the fact that the main heroine is flat, without the genderbending would have been an instant follow. Sadly the hints are pointing to a direction not to my liking.

I like how the main heroine is actually into the main guy from the start, usually it is the other way around. And I don't mind the cool guy turning into a hot girl, the more girls the better and a Yuri harem is fine as well, lol. Yabuki got everything he needs to make this series whatever he wants it to be - a romantic SoL, a Ninja Exorcist battling Ayakashi, lots and lots of human/Ayakashi girls in all forms, either forming around the genderbendered MC or our Ayakashi Maiden Heroine. I have a feeling this might stay for quite some time.^^

The basic premise (genderswap boy & girl) and the female character designs are about the same, but the details have been totally expanded and changed.

An all gender harem like in Hamefura would be fun, but it's far more likely to be Yuri only. Pseudo-yuri I guess, since there's genderbending involved. I guess Jump isn't really ready for an actual yuri manga, so Yabuki resorted to this trick.

Assuming this lasts a long time, I wonder if Eve/Yami, and possibly other characters from Black Cat/TLR are going to show up in this.

Knowing Yabuki, I think it's more like the genderbending was an excuse to to get Matsuri into girls dressing/locker rooms for his patented lucky pervent moments

I would expect a Yami clone to show up, she's basically a mascot of Yabuki's works

Yeah, that's why I mentioned her. I'm not sure he could even use characters from TLR even if he wanted to, since it's a shared work with Hasemi. I do recall Mikan and a few other characters had cameos in Mayoi Neko, so there's hope. In Yabuki's case, I really wouldn't mind him using Tezuka's system.
