Favorite Battleship and WHY?

I'm going to go with the Freeden on this one. The design seemed really practial and no-nosense, plus it was nice to see a land battleship after all the spaceships we had seen in previous Gundam series. I'd have to say, though, the best scene with the Freeden is it's final kamikaze run.

Plus the rec room is just cool.

I like the Archangel the best. There are better designs but nothing beats the power and versatility of that ship. Add Neumann the ultimate pilot and Murrue, a captain with guts... even ZAFT's best ship fell to it's power.

I would've voted for Archangel because Mizz Murrue is like my fav captain of all the captains, even Natarle. But I'm gonna vote for Eternal cuz I'm like totally in love with Miss Lacus.

Argama, Mother Vanguard, and Zamouth Garr.

The F91 period has some of the coolest stuff ever.

Ra Cailum/Jeane D'Arc - I just like its overall design plus the the crew cockpit hides in the hull for further protection (Saw it in CCA only, not in V though). I like the ship battle that took place in CCA. Creating dummies and firing off nukes, awesome stuff.

Reinforce Junior - Another awesome ship design I like. It really really looks good.

Eternal - Boy, they really did a good job creating such a wonderful ship design. This ship has speed (as stated by Rau in Seed) and supports the supposedly flagship MS's of Zaft.

Personally I have to go with The Argama...So many epic things have taken place in the eyes of that ship..It's seconds as a homeless shelter for troubled youth, but that youth always winds up kicking a$$ in the end...I just love the complex simplicity of the vessels' design and in ZETA it got alot of nice presentation shots that impressed me...The rotating Mobile Suit deck was always pretty cool aswell...That ship just has a special place with me...It's a honerable Gundam relic that's for sure...Oh and what happened to Near-Argama?? You forgot to add the Argama's love child....

I'd say Libra's main cannon and the trillion mobile dolls it carries makes up for it's large, bulky, slow size.

Well I like eternal simply because it is Lacus's ship. But I liked archangel design better...

I'm probably going to get shot for this but I like the Mass Produced ships the best, specifically the Salamis, so cheap compared to other ships and yet still fairly effecient, sleak and looks like a battleship. Of the unique ships though its the Mother Vanguard.

Not to mention it was THE longest used Federation Battleship (Salamis Kai at least)...the thing saw use all the way through UC 0153 for crying out loud (and by then, it was useless compared to modern-day Battleships used by Zanscare *sigh*)

I don't know why but I've always had an insane obsession with the battleships of Gundam. Screw the story, I used to just glue my eyes to the monitor looking for views of the Archangel or Minerva. Is this the case with anyone else?
