With that universe that keeps on expanding and expanding at a steady pace, that second season will have to come at one point with the world cup being the next logical step.

Well if nothing else, they know they have an international market for this show. So perhaps they can attempt to get some natives to voice the Europeans, Asians, and Americans that will probably be the represented other teams at the International. I doubt there would be an African team, but I suppose their might be one from North Africa since there were tank battles there. Also I suppose there would be an Australian group.

I am not getting my hopes up for season 2. At least not until it is officially announced. Also personally I an bit sure a how well a season 2 would do regardless of the success of season 1.

Not to mention the tons of merchandise and even a World of Tanks collaboration in-between the series and movie, with even the VAs doing little tank info vids.

I guess that is true. However I hope it is an original and not just turn little army 2 into an anime. Don't get me wrong I liked that manga spin off, but it would be better if they made an original so they have room to work instead of following the manga.

We will see though

If they ever make a season 2, I doubt they will adapt Little Army 2 or the other manga spinoffs. The reason is the GuP staff are preventing so far to not incorporate GuP manga only characters into the anime. I think it's to make the anime only watchers to not be required to read the stuff that happens in the manga.

with 2 or 3 ovas they can easily cover everything that happens in LA 1 and 2 and then start a second season.

and little army is the only spin off that really deserves something.

It's more than I hoped for at the end of the TV show. Far more. I for one am happy with anything that came afterwards

If that is indeed indicative of a continuation, the writers will have a heck of a journey ahead of them to produce something masterful. I for one look forwards to seeing what they have in mind, although given the production challenges we've seen so far, it could very well be the far future before we see more Girls und Panzer.

Spoiler for Spoiler for LA2 manga: Nishizumi housekeeper ( who just started working at Japan Sheshando Federation ) just handed over an offer to Emi to join Japan national team at world tournament. So Emi will be fighting alongside Miho and everyone else in 2 years time. I don't think they would bother with such details if they are not interested in finishing the story one day with season 2.
