So a short story for Overwatch called Bastet was released a couple of days ago with some interesting info:

* Jack/Soldier 76 used to have a boyfriend named Vincent(the guy seen in the picture with Jack in the Overwatch Reflections comic)but broke up with him due to Jack's committed to Overwatch. Jack has no desire to see his ex since not only Vincent is now married, Jack believe his ex deserves someone better than him.
* Ana's relationship with her daughter Pharah is rocky at best since she has yet to respond to a letter she sent to her daughter that she still is alive. Furthermore, she blames herself for ruining she and her ex-husband's marriage.
* Gabe/Reaper was married and had kids, hinting the family he was watching in the Reflection comic was one of his children and their family.

And this video over here is canon....if you ignore everyone being a Cat and Mouse.

Weapon: Biotic Launcher
-Primary Fire: Three-round SMG Burst
-Secondary Fire: Biotic Grenade Launcher (heals everyone except Baptiste, DOES NO DAMAGE)
Primary and Secondary fires have their own separate ammo counts, but they reload at the same time so be careful.
Ability 1 (Shift): "Regenerative Burst" Baptiste heals himself and others nearby with a large heal-over-time effect.
Ability 2 (E): "Immortality Field" He places down a robot that projects a field that prevents teammates going below a certain HP threshold. The robot can be destroyed by the enemy team, whether or not they're in the field.
Ultimate: "Amplification Field" places down a special barrier that causes all damage and healing sent through it by friendly players to be multiplied significantly. It only lasts a few seconds but it can also be destroyed by the enemy team
Passive: "Exo Boots" By pressing jump while crouching, Baptiste can perform a high jump. The longer the crouch, the higher the jump.

And again, we are reminded of how sad it is that all this effort is being put into creating an interesting world, and characters to populate it... yet the game itself does little to leverage that. This is even more puzzling when there is ample evidence that a strong, well-composed single-player experience has no problem bringing in the proverbial cheddar (the God of War and Witcher games come to mind, as do KOTOR and Deus Ex). However, as has been noted, it seems too many publishers are averse to putting in the effort such a presentation requires.

Role queue and 2-2-2 role lock coming to Quick Play and Competitive. (Old QP will be an arcade mode called "Quick Play Classic".)

Players will now have separate MMR and SR for each role. From what can be gathered from Seagull, who has been streaming this new update from the Blizz HQ while talking to devs, they've apparently been measuring this new MMR passively through player's individual hero usage for months now. For players who haven't played in a long while this will probably mean a soft MMR reset.

For any concerned flex players, you can queue for multiple roles at once when solo. In groups, you can only queue for one role.

Incentives for playing roles that are in high demand, such as "free lootboxes" and "extra credits", will be included.

Other details from Seagull's stream: SR decay is apparently being removed and there will be 4 different Top 500 rankings (one for each role and one for average overall rank)

Which makes him in a way similar to Jarod, before the latter figured it out and decided to go walkabout. And I suspect that the users hope their contingency plans work if Sigma clues in and decided to... communicate his displeasure.
