I was hoping for Horizon 9A instead, which is worth hype here (we're reaching the main climax after all) -Narita sensei still haven't remembered he didn't finish baccano and continues publishing Durarara. -Kamachi continues writing stuff without taking the time to think about the plot properly, nothing new to see here. Also 終末なにしてますか? 忙しいですか? 救ってもらっていいですか? (4) ( sukasuka) on kadokawa sneaker bunko side is due to the 12/26, so in 9 days. Really great news, I almost missed it o/

I don't think Kawakami fits either. I like his writing, but that's not really what such a label should aim for ImO.
The guy who should get is own label is Akira. That would still make a very impressive line up with just him lol x).

リトルアーモリーの小説化企画が進行中。 Little Armory novelization project underway. 'The story about the daily and non-daily lives of these girls begins,' yada yada. Published by Crystal Books (創芸社クリスタルブックス), whoever the hell they are. Judging how it says "cover illustrator" (ふゆの春秋, by the way) and not simply "illustrator," I wouldn't expect too much image-wise. |

The publisher (sohgei) is the publisher for LN like Rail Wars, but this label (Crystal Books) doesn't seems to be a light novel label (another book from the label is 妹は幽霊ですが、 なにか？ which most treat it as regular novel despite a few site put it into light novel category) and thus it use the term "cover illustration" which is a term fairly commonly used by regular novel published in Japan to refer to illustrator for the book's cover as they only responsible for the book's cover illustration but not those illustration inside the book and usually there won't be any illustration insode the book. 3. The site's introduction on one of the character and the school: Koryu High School, a preparatory school where free and casual school spirits encouraged students’ autonomy, carries on its traditions even after the school has been designated as a military academy. It now characterizes high latitude in providing a wide range of armory options. The school is well known for its rigid training curriculum, especially for the special warfare class. Its ordinary course, just like other general high schools, is active with school events and club activities. Miyo Asado, an ordinary course student of cheerful character, leads other students in the class. Belonging to the field track club, she excels as a short distance runner. Judging from the illustrations it makes me think the story will be like Strike Witches or Kancolle: EG cute highschool girls fighting weird alien-like creatures. I hope it'll be popular enough, and that it gets a decent enough writer that it won't sound like old hat. I can probably relate more to infantry girls as opposed to shipgirls or planegirls, may be asking for too much in hoping they get a writer who actually knows how infantry weapons work. Also hoping the artist stays the same, I really got attached to the character designs.

Still no baccano though,but considering the nice stuff Dengeki Bunko is having for April, I'll temporarily forget about that x). Outside of that, there's stuff like Index NT 15 and SAO 17, so a very big month sales wise for Dengeki Bunko here. On top of that, while Dash X Bunko hasn't released its line up for March yet, we already are aware (thanks to amazon) that it will include "Rokka no Yuusha archive1". Which is basically a volume showing the various characters of the show BEFORE the beginning of the story.
