A nice way to build up this week. About time the villians made their next move and the heroes are already starting to struggle.
I'm glad they're giving almost every character at this camp some screen time. Deku and Kota's bond is also interesting to note and seems the two are still not on good terms yet.

And so it begins now to see if them few days of intense training paid off...
Episode open up with Class B finally meeting with Class A as they're going through the training from hell pushing their powers to the upmost limit. We're also introduced to Ragdoll and Tiger the last 2 members for the pussycat team. The beast looking kid is kind of right that Tiger and is style really stands out in a Catgirl themed team... Later at dinner lots nice banter between the kids. Todoroki shows off excellent control of he has gained over his flames in only short amount of time. Bakugo ends up blowing up one of the grills then stomps off to sulk. Then we have poor Momo who after explaining how her creation powers work get it compared to pooping... It's okay Momo it's a cool power. Also looks like all the students who failed the last exam has to take extra lessons the poor bastards... Deku tries to get Kota to open up but no avail guess the poor kid needs more time but maybe seeing Deku fight will help him to see how it really is to be a hero. Speaking of Fights who do you all think will end up fighting who?

It is true that one needs to have the wisdom to know when and when not to say anything, as well as when it is best to leave things to someone else. However, there are also times where "meddling" may be needed.

This was a good episode. I enjoyed many parts of it.
I liked what they were going for with the exercise, but I also think they might be going too far too soon. I mean, you are completely exhausting the students, then they have to cook their own food, and still be able to get up and the same thing again the next day. I feel like they would be too exhausted to be able to fight villains! You don't get up fresh as a daisy the next day, especially if they aren't used to such strenuous workouts. ( I'm reminded again and again why I never had any inclination to go into sports or the military...) Also, while torn muscles can indeed in time grow back to be thicker than they were before. 1) that is not always the case and it is equally possible that they can grow more weak and frail than before depending on how they were torn, and 2) there is a huge amount of healing time they are just skipping over. Muscles don't heal like bones do, and it's not always the case that you'll be stronger afterwards. And it's definitely not an instant thing like they imply it is. I get what they are trying to say, but I think there are better analogies. Midoriya's scene with Kota was nice, I liked that he was trying to understand and help the kid as he could in his own way, but at the same time, he knew when to back off. In this way, he is developing in the same way as All Might probably did, and why All Might now knows the right way to encourage those he meets, whether it be Deku, civilians, or the UA students. It looks like the Villians have made their move. Dabi's powers look awesome. The poison gas guy is intriguing and I can't wait to see what Toga can do. So we have ten guys on the move with Pussycats down to three and Aizawa and Vlad King probably away in the classroom. Things are getting interesting...

If I misunderstood and you wondering how they're going to be able to fight the villains next episode despite their exhaustion... adrenaline, I guess? Though the real answer is anime.

I think it's pretty obvious there's a mole in UA. Wait, didn't the prez hinted earlier that he suspects there is...or am I confusing this with another anime.
Anyway, good episode. I really like Todoroki. He's calm and uses his head. He and Deku are my 2 favourite characters, and they would make one hell of a team together, I think.

That was a really fast recap of everyone's training. I love the animation for the training and extra details in the background (like seeing Iida running by every few minutes, Bakugo constantly yelling, etc.). I don't think every training was covered in detail so fast in the manga, rather the collected manga volumes explained things more, but of course the anime can't do that.
Fun to see all of class A and B in one big training camp, I always liked that this manga/anime kept track of the recurring cast. Poor Deku, the odd one left out, but not his fault so many are stuck in remedial classes (and huh, Uraraka and Aoyama were near the cut-off point too, and their victory in the practical was more luck than skill). And here's where everything goes wrong. Not sure there's any point to leaving All Might behind when their security keeps failing. Then again, keeping track of forty students would be hard even if they could spare another dozen teachers to go with them. Well, in the present, time to see how they do against villains (again). |

I disagree with the whole "don't pry" thing. I mean sometimes it's correct. But we're talking about a kid who closed himself off from the world entirely, plus he's literally all alone in the world. Somebody has to do the prying. Otherwise he will just stay this way forever. So long as the person doing it is aware that their efforts may not be immediately appreciated, and some amount of care is advised.
