You know all this talk of dictator Hayate reminds me that I once saw a pic of Hayate dressed in uniform and looking vaguely... Hitlerish, I guess is the word.

The game has the potential to be good. But it lacked the flair that make good doujins games awesome. Hell, Tomoyo final fight parody has strokes of genius (Clannad characters being IN-character, like Fuko and her starfish, Nagisa and Dango HAX; the many cameos like Nanoha's or Yaranaika), in despite of its flaws. Magical Battle Arena is more promising. Too bad Hayate got the shaft!!!!

I've downloaded a version of it but in the version I have there are only 2 playable characters Lina and Nanoha... Anyway, I figured the following keys work as follows (at least for Nanoha)

Z- Ranged Attack
X- Shield
Q- Move down
W- Move up
A (press)- Weak physical
A (hold)- Strong physical
S + A- Special move1
S + Z- Special move2
S + X- Special move3
Enter- Pause game
Arrow keys- Move in specified direction.

Keyboard keys given above assume a standard-101 keyboard.

Edit:
I just checked, the above combinations also work for Lina.
