All the allies got introduced at once. For now Momoko is the one that stands out. I'm guessing the person they wanted Iroha to meet is actually Yachiyo.

What's up with all the robots? I don't remember them in Madoka. Not sure if it's part of the mystery of the town or if it's just Shaft being Shaft.

Guess this episode just goes to show that even seemingly minor fights can become deadly when it involves magical girls in Madoka

Yeah, I don't remember Madoka being this futuristic.

This is the first time we've seen robots, I believe, but other than that this isn't any more futuristic than what we've seen before. And honestly, real life is almost at the point of these robots, while not being anywhere close to the other futuristic stuff Madoka has, so it's believable.

Also, loved the part where Rena took the form of Ren. We're assuredly not going to see any of her story (since she was a side event character), so it's nice to get at least this small cameo for her.

the bizaarre way that witches kidnap people never cease to amaze me. Truly terrifying. So Kamihama is the place of superpowered witches - and the way to survive is to become super strong yourself, or team up with others?

Iroha meets three magical girls in Kamihama. Thankfully, the three are not hostile. Two even try to help her find her missing sis.

Before anything get's done they need to deal with the Chain witch first.

Madoka's city is Mitakihara. Kamihama is the new city with strong witches and rumors like magical girls that go there will be saved.

Correct. In fact, I believe the only places that have been mentioned before are Mitakihara, Kazamino (Kyoko's city), Asunaro (Kazumi Magica), and Hohzuki (Suzune Magica).
