have input the codes across three servers literally as soon as I saw them. Livestream codes have a scarily short lifespan.

There's literally no drawback for them to giving them a longer lifespan (12h is quite a record among games I play). Honestly I only play Genshin these days during weekends as a very casual player (I only buy gems and never sub or BP due to this). Unless it's just an outright reward for stream watchers. Not a big deal since I'm casual, but I'm just baffled sometimes by how the team running the game thinks.

It is actually worse than that. The codes have a limited number of account usage. The thing is that JP players finally got JP livestream as well recently and incidentally, that code expiration issue also happened in the previous stream albeit in a smaller scale.
But this time, it seems MHY reduce the number of times each code can be used or we got more users being aware of those codes, which made them being used quicker than before. It is worth noting that the JP livestream had 150k+ viewers. That is very likely another reason why some people became aware of the existence of those codes over there since you would have to either check the JP twitter account or news/matome websites instead.

So yeah, no real reason why they didn't lift such restrictions and it is probably going to be worse next time because people FOMO will kick in harder now that we know the codes are usage limited, not just time limited.

Still, what baffles me is that Honkai 3rd, Hoyoverse's other game, also releases code every now and then. But these last a lot longer, especially the codes related to the newest version, those often last a week if not more.

They are probably helmed by different teams/people/producers. They have comparatively different anniversary treatments as well, with HI touted to be way more generous. I don't play HI. I tried to pick it up last year, but it's a bit overwhelming for me, so it's what I heard from the gaming discord community I'm part of.

This is one hell of a creative trailer. Exact same monologue delivered 3 completely different ways. I watched it in EN, JP and CN, and all I can say is that this is some fantastic VA work.

Also, Nahida's ascension materials were revealed. Aside from the obvious Dendro Hypostasis mats, she'll need Kalpalata (the blue flowers that grow on high places) and Spores (from Shrooms).
Tbh, I thought she'd need Viparyas, the flowers that only grow in the dream version of Vanarana...would make more sense lorewise

Just small note: you get different drops from shrooms depending if you used pyro or electro or not. Dust is used for characters while Nucleus (that you get by attacking shrooms with pyro or electro) for weapons. So watch what elements you use while farming.

question to those who have Nilou. Do you guys use HP main stat artifacts? Or do we also need to have plenty of Crit Rate?

I use a Crit Rate head, but only because I have her signature weapon. Otherwise go HP all the way because on lower HP builds CR doesn't give enough damage to be worth it.

Man, Hoyoverse really did a number with the Nahida/Yoimiya banners...
Featured 4 stars are Noelle, Razor and Bennet

As for the weapon banner...Rust is a good bow for Yoimiya. Widsith is a bit random, but still solid.
Though instead of the Flute, Alley Flash could've been a better choice


Also, drip market for the Wanderer and Faruzan
