All I can say is I thought the insanity was over! This is the most sadistic, masochistic, psychotic bloodbath I've ever watched, and this is coming from a fan of Elfen Lied! What's creepy about this is that in other gorefests, the blood is supposed to scare you or surprise you and make you think of the pain of mortality, but this is supposed to make you laugh until you cough up a lung. It's like seeing someone walk into ground zero of a massacre, chuckle, and shout "Encore!"

Other than that, it's more Dokuro-chan which is good of course. So far the first season was better.

Well I see the series hasn't lost anything on the WTF Factor.
My favourite parts of Episode 1 were the American Guy who is supposedly a rendition of Sakura, the generic quiet girl (Obviously on purpose considering how oversold she is on the monotone quiet voice) turning out to be a devious trickster, Binkan Salary Man, and the completely unnecessary scene at the end with Sabato freaking out. And then episode 2 was like Soft Core Porn all things considered with a little bit of S&M involving Boxing Rings, censored bathing scenes and Dokuro Chan using Mario's Butt Stomp on Sakura. Highlights included Waruehime pulling the snowman that come out of nowhere in Freeski to eat you and Sabato-Chan showing up rambling at the speed of light (It is Rie Kugimiya after all) to make it a foursome. What a weird show. |

I really should have known. Really.
I really liked the first season of Dokuro-chan and... knowing the previous work of Tsutomu Mizushima, I really should have seen this coming. I know, I know that if ecchi is what you're looking for, Dokuro-chan isn't the place, but that fourth curtained scene's audio really got the ol' gears of imagination turning.
Its entirety is readily available on various streaming video websites and... well, it may not be everything that you expect. Then again, maybe I should just turn down the creepy, enjoy a funny series and look forward to the other three scenes of horrific violence. Yeah... violence is funny |

I'll be skipping any further "censored for TV" episodes, and just wait for some uncensored DVD action. |

Argh, what's with all the censorship!?
Well, it was to be expected, being this a TV series and not an OVA and all that. But boy, sure I miss the gore. At least the humor seems to be untouched by the TV censors. And they've popped in more fanservice, too.

First off, the censors aren't near as bad as everyone seems to think they are. With sound effects for which even the all-purpose "WTF!?" seems inadequate, you either can guess what's going on or seeing the result without the cause actually makes the scene funnier(like when Sakura was lying on the bathroom floor looking like he'd been dead a week).
Here's a question for the philosophers: Zakuro-chan is nine years old, but she's more developed than most eighteen-year-olds. So, if a man is attracted to her, is he really a lolicon? Note that this is hypothetical as overdrawn endowment has been ruined for me, since I've seen a full ep of Eiken... |

As to your philosophy-entailed question: A yes because she's 9, with a no because she's so overly developed, and a but she's still 9 and it's socially unacceptable and punishable by the law. It's difficult, give me an easier one.

Oh boy, I love Dokuro-chan! 2nd Series is going to be a blast!
Spoiler for Spoilers, but does it matter?:
Overall a 10 for me! Yeah the bath scene is long but that's the way it's supposed to be in this show! Otaku guro-ecchi humor at its best... filled with strange and irrelevant references that's not even remotely funny. I'm so happy it's back.. shiawase... |
