1+1-1, all on time. Yay 1000th post. Good thing I always keep a few support rush posts for lost characters in reserve; Hanyu was a last second addition.

I have to say, I really admire the amount of strategic thinking behind the fake votes. Not only is it confusing the Saki faction to avoid a situation like the Momo/Touka/Ui match, but also they managed to control it so that Maria appears to be slightly behind to rally up the HnG voters and the anti-Saki voters.

It was close at first, but Nodoka's fake vote machine is pulling away from Taco's. Maybe we'll get some snowballing support for one side after all.

Shana - 816
Takamachi Nanoha - 719
Saginomiya Isumi - 109

Nanoha is arguable one of the most successful Saimoe competitors. Even after winning a tournament she keep on kicking and making friends. But as powerful as she is, she apparently couldn't touch Shana this time. Nearly a hundred votes isn't actually a completely safe margin but Shana defintely had room to spare in this victory. As probably expected, Isumi got crushed in this match. She just didn't have enough power to deal with the other two. Shana will be joining Nagi in the Top 8 making 2/2 Top 8 qualifiers characters voiced by Kugimiya Rie.


Today's match:

Kataoka Yuuki vs Maria vs Haramura Nodoka

Hoping to make it 3/3 characters voiced by Kugimiya Rie, Kataoka Yuuki is up today alonf with Maria and Haramura Nodoka. Of the three, I'd say Maria is the weakest. Fortunately for her and unfortunately for her opponents, block finals are three way matches this year. When you stick so many Saki characters in one block, it's only natural that two of them would make it to the block final. Even if Nodoka and Yuuki are stronger, they probably won't win if they split the Saki votes. One of Yuuki or Nodoka will have to be sacrificed so the other can take a shot at beating Maria. The problem is both Yuuki and Nodoka are really strong and close to each other in terms of strength. It's not clear who is stronger and should be the one to challenge Maria. I'm just going to take a guess and say Yuuki will be the one that gets support although I'm not too sure on this. I think it'll be enough to beat Maria so I'm going with Yuuki winning. She could just as easily finish last if Nodoka gets support, though.

While there are some voters who would support every character voiced by KugiRie, only the main four (Shana, Louise, Nagi, Taiga) gets the full support.

I'm guessing that in reality Yuuki would be pretty behind, although maybe not bus-level yet.

Tacos is almost 100 votes behind Nodoppai now. Examining the graph, and excluding the initial surge, Tacos' curve is just like the other bus victims.
