Really enjoyed the first episode, I hope it end up having more sport scenes than fanservice to tie with seriousness. There's a little censorship during the shower scene (Airi's breasts) and one panty shot for Subaru's aunt (voiced by Shizuka Itou). Despite I will not watch the rest of the series (I'm busy with Mayo Chiki! and Dantalian), I hope it will not end up like Softenni (focused on risqué humor and heavy fanservice) to focuses more on the seriousness of basketball training than fanservice scenes.

Just watch 1st episode...

Hanazawa as Tomoka just sounds weird...(I'm stuck at Kuroneko Hanazawa...), but other than that, hard to tell where this will go after the 1st episode...

Nice to hear another facet of Hikasa Yoko's voice. Not too unique though, almost too generic.

Totally, Slam Dunk was amazing. But I certainly don't expect Ro-Kyu-Bu! to be another SD just because it has basketball in the premise. I will appreciate it as the different take on the genre it seems to be.

I ain't holding my breath, but i really do hope there's a lot more to come from the basketball side of things. Basketball's pretty much the only reason why i got suckered into watching this, would've never touched it otherwise lol

That's just one of those questions you don't ask, especially if you want the anime to get a subforum.

It was enjoyable enough. Hanazawa Kana as the lead [?] means I was probably going to watch this anyway.

"Okay, let's gather lolis to attract otaku!" + "Okay, let's gather popular voice actors to attract otaku" = forecasting disaster If the characters weren't so small and elementary schoolers, it wouldn't feel so odd that they act the way they did or their athletic abilities. Half of the voice actors don't even fit their role. Pink Hanazawa fit so poorly, I think a fireball would fit the stockings I hanged on Christmas better. But Saten-san is there. And I liked the spats. Mm... Until episode 3! It's a different season now, but last season had plenty of anime that started out bad and got better.
