Man, you have some awesome work
Can't believe this is the first time on your thread. I admit that I go on and off the forums for certain periods of times but I surprised myself that I didn't catch this thread any earlier lol I'm not sure if this questions been asked yet, I don't really want to go through 40 pages to search lol but how long does it take you to make signatures and avatars like these?

@DXMichael''How much time it take to make thoses? '' Frankly, there's no simple answer. To make eash week my 4 usual ''Touhou freebies'' take usualy betweem 1 and 2 hours. A scenery signature usualy take less time than one than is made from a element from a pictures. The more I get better at one technique, the less time I take...
As for the avatar, it take betweem 10 to 20 minute unless I use a new shape.

Okay, I know I'm a bit late to say thanks for the New Year's signature, but here it goes anyway -- Arigatou gozaimasu!!! I love it ganbaru, you're such a good guy to make all that for so many friends...I am speechless. Though I have deserted this lovely place a year ago, I do hope to come back and become active again. In the meanwhile, I'm putting your sig on.

Time for the weekly update.
Two new sets of signtures and avatars, finishing the current project: The whole serie, a association of the poem ''The city in the sea'' by Edgar Allan Poe, with some scenery materials: (And if someone is wondering: no, I am not planning to use ''The Raven'' for a serie anytime soon... ) And some freebies:

It me for a weekly update:
A new set of signatures and avatar: And some usuals freebies: In another note, I am thinking about doing a serie around Saya fron Saya no Uta in the non-near future but I have a very limited knowledge of the her or the game ( I haven't played it). The issue if the text; I am thinking of using '' De profundis clamavi'' by Baudelaire and I would like to know if it do not fit with her. Spoiler for The poem in question and a translation made by myself.:

Nice work! I know the first set aren't freebies, but I was wondering if I could use the one without text, but with my name? I really love that one...the colors and the girl...and the design, and her dress

To be honest, I often duplicated texts to make them easier to read, but I it do have its limit, especialy with accent on the french quote but given the small size of the character there's little than can be done. I could increase the size but I would end up eating much of the surface of the signature but them the signature would end up being only a ''background'' for the text. At the end I have to do a compromise betweem the quote and the visual like I often have to compromise betweem what I want to do and what I can do with the material I endded up finding.
BTW, what is that ''blend mode'' , is that a tool than, as a PhotoShop Element user, I don't have ?

I use PhotoShop and blend mode (and blending options) are options across many of Adobe's programs. Blend mode is a scroll-down option, the default option is always "Normal". If you'd like me to show you an example then if you would please PM me the .psd file (the one in your signature) and I'll do it my way and put few notes in and send it back to you. I use more than just blend mode - like adjustment layers, erasing parts and the ability to manipulate lights and shadows.

The think is Photoshop Element isn't as equiped as Photoshop. I looked the scroll-down option than I have ( like normal, color burn, overlay, color dodge etc... ) and blend isn't here.
