so Kozuno has no sakki (intent to kill) and wants them to finish him off, but IIRC he just impaled Kisaragi and would have killed him if not for the almighty Aoi. hmmmm....

i cant believe that im saying this but i have to...poor Kozuno all that guy wanted was to see his dear kaa sama again and it would have happened in the illusion if his hand wasnt cut off...next to being beaten and humiliated in front of his worse rival hiyu hes dragged off to meet his maker...poor guy >.< and whats with the loli being killed off so quickly? geez so shes all talk and no action? boo!

Its actually a fairly popular device, in videogames at least, to have a villain character be all "GO AHEAD AND KILL ME/PUT ME OUT OF MY MISERY!!!!" as if they're just going to stand there and let you shoot them in the head, but then turning around and forcing you into a difficult battle where you must fight tooth and nail to win. Its still kinda stupid, especially considering how boring the battle against ogre Kodzuno was.

Well, Kodzuno came back in Episode 14, so I'd assume we haven't seen the last of her. Especially since she's working for Yagyu. And for the record, she did do a little bit, she blew up some monks in Episode 1, it seems like, then went all kooky back during the first confrontation between Hiyuu and Kodzuno, and then she tried to do some stuff in episode 11, I believe, but Raito's OMGAMAZINGBARRIEROFELECTRICITY or whatever stopped her.

It is sort of weird how much her power varies, though. Remember Episode 7, or whenever, where she caused like, that massive explosion? And now, Raito's more powerful than her? Psh.

I hadn't realised this series (or rather arc) was so short! Aoi really annoyed me for most of the episodes (maybe that genre of characters always do) but now that she's changed (agree about the Naginata outfit looking much better than the uniform) I think her rating will improve since she's actually cool this time ^^
I've only seen up to 11... marathon...

I have no complaints regarding animation up to episode 13 but 14th is a stark contrast... it's burning my eyes. Uhh... I still look forward to next arc if they manage to get back into normality.

Yeah, what was up with this episode quality? the contrastes was way off and somehow it was too dark in some areas. Was it just my computer? Looks like the contrastes was too high, aking the light areas to light and the dark areas to dark.

Anyway, good "first chapter" ending. Can't wait for more. July 2007...
Though I really hate hate hate Aoi now. She is just irritating. Been a long time since I've hated an character so intense like I hate her. But I like the rest of the gang, though.

Yes! thank you! I was just telling a friend that this was a mix of Bleach with God knows what... hahaha....but there we go, With Samurai Champloo? hehe..
Still, I like it. So far in episode 10, seems this subject ended long ago and I just started it :P
