Rewatching AtLA is a potent reminder of how great it got when it got great. By mid-season 2 it was consistently brilliant. Not only was it developing many characters and executing one of the best recurring plots in animation, it was successfully experimenting with format in exciting ways.

I have finished watching ATLA weeks ago, and I still find myself looking at the memes of it and laughing out loud. It's so timeless. I've rewatched it around 3 times, and I still find in genius every time. I really hope they give justice to it for the Netflix live action adaptation. Anyone know news about its progress?

Watched this for the first time recently. Have to say, I enjoyed it way more than I initially thought. Lol
