I can pass getting Moe designs, what i cannot pass its getting MOE personalities!!

Let me explain my point, i can see they taking Shouko's social awkwardness that is consequence from her clinical condition and all of the bullying and turning her into a simply Moe blob with no explanation behind that!!!

Well given the way they treat their movies, it's either going to be awesomesauce or a complete disaster/

They're is probably the most fitting studio to produce something like this, especially as a film.

ANN confirms.

If KyoAni leaves the material alone, that could actually be great. They better not break out the homoginizer on this one.

This should still have been a series though, either way.

+1

Not sure how KA plans to condense the source material into a film format.

I personally felt that the series dragged, and that the oneshot (like most oneshots, actually) was a significantly stronger vision.

Condensing the material would only be good for it.

Very mixed feelings about this. However, if they do it with the budget, finesse and less meandering like they did with the Tamako Market movie I could see it being good. If they however, channel their Chuunibyou, Amagi or Kara no Kyouka... then gg.

Oh, oh wow.

One way or another, you won't be able to tear your eyes away from this one.

I'm a KyoAni sympathizer to begin with thanks to their early body of work, so this could be the chance for them to show they still got that spark somewhere in there. Plus I've got that feeling they are able to show enough restrain not to break out the oft mentioned homogenizer in this case; stylistically speaking the source material should lie closer to Hyouka's side of the anime spectrum.

This...if they used the one shot as the general framework of the movie it could work...though I enjoyed the one shot and the longer versions of the manga.

I think KyoAni could do a fine job with this.

I wasn't really impressed by that movie to be honest but she isn't what I'm worried about. I'm just hoping they don't ruin those character designs.
