Hobby Japan and Megahouse's "Bikini Wars" series of figures is getting a television anime project that will premiere in July.

Description:

The setting is a an RPG-style world with swords and magic, where adventurers form a party to challenge the demon king's right to rule. But, the adventurers all have beautiful breasts, enormous breasts, and bikini armor!!

The technical aspect need improvement. Otherwise it delivered as you'd expect with a title like that. The five minutes were just enough, if any longer it would have been no good. It was mostly a lot of lampshade hanging about the Bikini Armor trope (HIGHEST DEFENSE EVER FOR FEMALE FANTASY CHARACTERS!), with lot of bouncing breasts. The Dark Elf sounded too old for me. I prefered the Paladin and the Fighter.

It's okay as guilty pleasure, delivered in short weekly burst, like when you play some Dead or Alive matches while waiting for your FFXIV dungeon queue to be over with.

Being a 5-minute series, without forgetting its rather silly premise, I actually knew it could easily turn out into a guilty pleasure of mine. Production values are alright, the fanservice was well...serviceable, which is expected from our usual animated ecchi galore. I'll continue watching it probably just for the sexy shots though, as with everyone else.

Pfff... it's the same difference as ppls comparing wearing Bikinis vs Underwears
The only difference? one is made to not be seen all the time... but both have same design (except for them frilly underwears, but than again... there are quite some Bikinis that reveals more than underwears... yea...)

Which is more "lewd" underwear that covers everything

Bikinis that covers a tiny part of your body (as can be seen in this anime)

Bikinis by average, covers 30% less of skin than normal underwears do.


To the females in this anime world.
Armors are made to be seen like Bikinis
While regular Bikinis are like underwears.

Which comes to the question... do they even wear underwear in this anime world?

And there I was hoping this one would be some clever dissection of the RPG trope of giving the female characters much more skimpy and unsuitable armour than the male characters. Darn!

As expected, only the animation was good. Not even their armors are decently designed.

Thank god we got Monster Musume to make up for the lack of any decent ecchi animes.

My D&D player characters were also as stingy as the Bikini Warriors when it came money rewards, King or Mayor be damned. Seriously, when the girls started arguing with the King, I cringed and went, "please girls, dont do that..." As a dungeon master, I'd have my players in prison, as simple as that. But that one kind went the extra mile lol

It was the least animated of all least animated episodes, for a five minutes episode, its far from being a compliment.
