Am I the only one not reminded of Subaru (the rich girls butler who had to dress up as a guy) when Charlotte dressed up as a butler

M is for Mini-Chifuyu - obviously. And doesn't her little display put into perspective just what Big Chifuyu is capable of...

So with that, I'll forgive the lack of Chifuyu-nee - but the end picture of the Orimura Duo was win (at least for me it was )

Never have I been so (willingly) hit over the head with all the HNNNG fromthis show before, particularly Char and Laura. Those two have such a wonderful chemistry with their friendship...

Rin was surprisingly sexy with just the bikini top n shorts combo. As expected of a childhood friend...

Speaking of childhood friends and naughty... dammit Houki!!! You NEVER answer the door while still wet from a shower! The things it does to men's minds is unforgivable~ Still, she really has grown~

Cecilia - you try so hard... But it's endearing to see it yet again. *sighs*

And of course, The Density Still Known As Ichika, is alive and well and frustrating the hearts of beautiful young maidens in love to no end.

That was a little bit better than I had expected.

The Excellent:

-Teaser before the OP. Great way to kick off Season 2. Nice foreshadowing for what's to come once the show gets by the obligatory harem antics.


The Good:

-OP and ED are both nice and energetic.
-Charlotte and Laura had surprisingly good chemistry together.
-Charlotte and Laura's various outfits/costumes were nice.
-All of the romantic dream sequences were actually pretty funny.
-Action scenes were decent, and a pleasant surprise. I honestly wasn't expecting any action in the first episode.
-Ichika's obliviousness is painful in some ways, but I liked the gag they made out of it in this episode. Each of them think of him as a desired mate, while he thinks of all of them as a bunch of bros that happen to be girls.


The Bad:

-The group date itself was very generic, but at least they super-rushed it so it wasn't too boring.
-Ichika's obliviousness is facepalm-worthy at times. Again, I liked the gag they made out of it this episode, but it still makes Ichika look very dumb at times.
-They're really mailing it in on the slapstick comedy. But oh well, I guess that makes it quicker anyway.


The Ugly:

-Yet another haremette? Is that really necessary, IS? The character herself might be fine, but good grief, this is becoming self-parodying.


Overall, I give it a 8/10. Infinite Stratos is dragged down a bit by being such a heavy-handed harem show, but I do get the impression that the show does as well as it can within those constraints.

You know, Ichika's dense could be a great thing. Imagine you have seven hormone-raging girls ready to wage war because of you, so what would be the best option? Choose one girl? Nope! Having them all? Nah! So maybe dense is the only option.

That or asking Tabane for a cloning machine.

What I loved about this episode: Kana-chan is bringing out her real personality while being Char.

Yes, Kana-chan really is like Char of this episode.

I just wanted to punch Ichika for being so dense DX WHY U SO DENSE ICHIKA?!!! QAQ

I didn't really like how they skipped the swimming pool park scenes though ;___;

It was as if they crammed the entire thing in those few minutes x.x

Hope Blu-ray version doesn't have it skipped...

Finally Tatenashi appears!!! CAN'T WAIT XD

So glad to see this back. Hearing all the news about the author had me worried we'd never see this again. I've been needing a good harem to kick back to these past few seasons.

A shame this new ED doesn't live up to its legendary predecessor.

Other than that, can't wait to see more.

Sometimes I think this series would be better if Ichika was killed by a falling meteorite and it just shifted into a yuri series. Char could handle a harem a million times better than this dense fool.

Honestly the shopping trip with Char and Laura was far better than anything that happened when we returned to Ichika. I do wonder how he has survived this long in the world.

Also that whole pool scene was just odd. Either give it full attention or montage it better. It just seemed really low quality the way they handled that whole scene.

Oh well, welcome back Infinite Stratos. I have a feeling your MC is going to kill me. May Charlotte somehow keep me watching this .
