The Year One Manga updated to 69 and 70. In 69, the ritual goes off but the bad guys ended up resurrecting a necromancer rather than the Demon Lord. In 70, GS uses makeshift grenades against the Goblins and it's super-effective.

I'm liking the way the regular GS manga is going. Priestess is showing real growth this arc.

Wonder if High Elf Archer will join her or go with the others, since arrows might not be the most useful underground.

Goblin Slayer Year One updated to Chapter 71. The Goblin Slayer begins in earnest as GS and the Monk lady start lobbing firebombs before GS goes murder-blending and she pulls a full Spear out of her sleeve. Literally how? Then she blows the heads off two hobs with another bomb before the Goblin Lord starts getting pissed.

Goblin Slayer is updated to Chapter 71 as well. You can see the experience being accumlated, not only with the veterans coming up with a plan but also the way that priestess took what she learned and figured out where they were most likely to attack. She's coming along so nicely.

Year One has updated all the way to 80. Lots of stuff happened, but we learn that village he saved from Goblins was the one that Heavy Warrior came from.

Year One is up to Chapter 91. New Elf helped GS against a Nothic that was immune to non-magical damage and had a purifying gaze. Also we see that some Goblin got his hands on a Magic Sword.

Regular series is up to 83. Dinosaur appears in Elf homeland.

A Rhea called Burglar that I think is a reference to him.

True, but training Goblin Slayers isn't how I figured he spent his retirement. (Then again, the same is true of Frodo.)

Spoiler: In the main series, the veterans deal with the Goblins below the ground, working in tandem with the sort of expertise you would expect from them thanks to having three frontline fighters, a ranger, and two dedicated casters. The Goblins have a Shaman with them but Witch knows Counterspell and High Elf Archer can put one between their eyes easy enough. Still, the fact that they're using some scheming tactics is troubling so whatever GS has in mind I'm looking forward to it. Meanwhile, in Year One, the murder-blending continues as the Goblin Lord decides to cut his losses and leave the others to die so he can start over. Fortunately, GS took the Tavern Brawler feat and uses his Shield as an improvised ranged weapon to toss it and slip him up. The Goblins see that moment of weakness and promptly turn on him because as per their nature, they're all little bastards who think themsleves on top so the moment the Lord shows weakness one tries to usurp him. All while the Guild lady is charging a Ki Punch that looks like its got some range in it. __________________
