So I've been making a bit of research and it looks like Fukuda's intention with Kira in Destiny is that he would drop his pacifistic style in the story and embrace instead his original conflicting side from the original SEED. This is mostly seen when his ideals clash with Durandal's as he aims a gun at him. This was stated in a 2006 book.

Also, that book also says Destiny was envisioned as a story of three protagonists rather than what everybody say.

Me being salty about "Freedom in China" aside, this is also such a missed opportunity. If China's economical favor & government's support are the things that Bandai after, why not build the Sangokuden Gundams that represent the glorified Chinese characters from Romance of the Three Kingdoms? I mean, look at these awesome beauties:

Those are just three out of dozens. They're perfect and are tailor-made for China. They will look gorgeous in big size, Chinese people will adore them, Chinese government will gladly support them, it will help build the interest of people towards the RotTK story where newbies can learn about noble ancient Chinese values that people actually appreciate (compared to the communist values).

I was wondering if anyone you have watched the HD Remaster of Gundam SEED Special Edition?

I watched the original but I never knew they had a HD remastered version for it till recently. Especially because the HD Remaster of both SEED and Destiny TV series pretty much made watching the special editions useless because they incorporated those extra scenes in original special editions into the HD Remaster tv series.

If you have watched it, was there any additional scenes that wasn't in the original special editions or HD TV remaster? Thanks in advance.

Anyone know if the gundam seed hd issue on rightstuff has been fixed yet? The message about it was still there recently so I am hesitant to buy even if it can be replaced, I’m a bit forgetful lol
