Wonder what kind of plot they'll come up with for these games. P4 DAN turned out not bad considering, but its still... unexpected to see the P3 characters dancing like that. Its not quite as big a shock with P5 after their opening and P4 was always wacky.
Another reason I'm glad I have a Vita, just hope this is out in English by end of 2018. |

I'm in favor of the theory that due to you-know-what, P3 might not be a sequel but something in the middle of the story.
Would love to see where they take the P5 characters because that's definitely a sequel.

So I'm most definitely importing the japanese Vita versions. I've got to keep my DAN Vita happy
Sadly I'm betting that in the west we'll probably only get the PS4 versions like it happened with Valkyria Revolutions (for example). Not a big deal though and I'm a sucker for anything Persona related lately so day one here.

Both games are confirmed for May 24, 2018. I think this is the first time we see their dancing outfits for most of the casts. The P5 anime is starting in April, so should be a good year for Persona (and got an official name for the P5 protagonist now).
And there will a special PS4 Edition that'll include a P4 Dancing port so guess you can get all three Persona Dancing games on either system if you want. (I wish Atlus USA could take the chance to redub the port with Rise's original voice, but that's unlikely, if/when these games are announced for the west.) Now I just hope they announce whether they'll bring it to the west or not. |

Yay, both games are finally confirmed to be coming west on PS4 and Vita (with slightly changed names). Though not until early 2019, but at least they finally announced them. I look forward to seeing more of them at E3.
Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight Announcement Trailer Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight Announcement Trailer I wonder if there will be a special edition (and whether they'll bother with the P4 Dancing PS4 port). |

I haven't gotten my copy with me yet since I got some family to receive it for me but I did listen to the soundtrack already and I'm not too sold on it so far. The P3 one at least sounds kind of disappointing to my ears so far while the P5 one is better but no song really stood out to me yet.
Can't wait to get my hands on the game itself. And then the translation to see what I missed playing the original version.
