Stories with Inhuman Side-Chara &/or Enemies

Are there any stories in which side-characters and/or enemies do have a non-human or humanoid appearance?

Angels, Devils/Demons, Monsters, Aliens, etc...
Mechs & Robots may be in the list but I'd rather not give them priority in this case...

Dog Days has a cast full of animal-eared people, enemies included.
A significant side character in Twelve Kingdoms is a giant mouse.

Animal-eared people are humanoid characters, which are out of my search list...

Any of these what you're looking for?

Chamber in Suisei no Gargantia
Senketsu in Kill la Kill
Migi in Kiseijuu
Kyubey in Puella Magi Madoka Magica

In all of these the non-human character has some significant connection with the main character.

I voted for the first two in the Choice Awards for best supporting character in 2013 and 2014 respectively. Migi will probably get my vote next time around. I thought Hirano gave one of her best performances.

Another vote for Junni Kokuki.

There are lots of shows with mascot characters like Kyubey, Sailor Moon for one. Do they all qualify?

Oh! Edo Rocket has alien characters that can transform their appearances and look human. Their non-human forms would qualify.

Hmm... Not exactly... If it serves as a basic example... Enemies and Bosses from Bayonetta may be a good start...
And yes, more than in games, I was trying to look into Anime series...

I just realized, Shin Sekai Yori may fit your conditions. But explaining the non-human characters would easily become a spoiler.

I don't understand how this responds to my questions at all. I don't know what the reference to games is supposed to mean.

I listed four characters and asked if they were what you are looking for. Are they?

Nope, not in the least... And I did answer you... «Not exactly»...

The reference to the game was that I was trying to find Anime stories that had creatures like those I see most of time in games...

The women in Claymore fight giant monsters. You'll see one right at the outset of episode one.

I've already found a few images on Google, thanks. Good indeed but still not exactly what I'm looking for...
I know that, close to Claymore's example, there was Soukyuu no Fafner Exodus, but what I'm looking for are beings that may not look even remotely humanoid in appearance...
Hence me refering enemies from Bayonetta or other games in general... I was trying to find Anime series with such kinds of beings in the story...

Evangelion?

Also, if you don't mind VNs, try some of the steampunk series like Shikkoku no Sharnoth. The enemies are based off lovecraftians horror like nyarlathotep.

Well, things like that, yes... Eva, indeed, is another good example I could've mentioned...
But, Anime series-wise, are there any with those kinds of characters, either as enemies and/or side-characters?

How about the Vertexes in Yuuki Yuuna Wa Yuusha de Aru or the witches in Madoka.

Madoka, Eva & YuYuYu, I've seen them.
Claymore & Fafner, haven't seen so far.

And... Do you know of any other series?
