North Korea Says They Have Deployed Nuclear

"The statement about North Korea readying its nuclear weapons came
from the state-ran news and reported to have come from Kim himself
while on a tour of an army artillery unit. The fear is that North Korea
could use these weapons in preemptive attacks on South Korea. This

The North Koreans are dying in there.
Even though they get free, and revolution to change the North Korea for the better especially getting rid of the cult, there's no promising luxurious life waiting for them in the future.

I'm not sure whether it is right or not to South Korea and North Korea to be combined anymore.
And i'm including how South Korea will absorb North Korea.
Whether North Korea merge with South Korea or stay is an standalone country, I don't care anymore.

Now, I just wish for South Korea and other countries to try their best as possible to help people in the North Korea to be happy just like any other countries after the North Korea freed from many kinds of imprisonment.

TBH its only a matter of time before North Korea falls to bits, and I honestly expect one of the most likely scenarios at that point is South Korea will adsorb it and it just become Korea again... with the South Korean government footing the huge bill of making the North a country people can find theirs dreams in again (which will be a long process for sure).

The other major possibility is China steps in and takes over the failing country. But I get the impression they don't really want the job and would only do it if they though a massive refuge crises was about to come spilling over the border.

Likely South Korea first (since Pyongyang close to there more). If they are gunned down over DMZ (not to mention landmine), then it will be China

The first case likely will destroy South Korean economy and social fabric. The later will be a migration and human right crisis

North Korea Is Frantically Searching For One Of Its
Submarines: Report:

"Details remain scarce, but reports state that North Korea has lost one of
its submarines. It is not clear what exactly the suspected state of the
submarine is but North Korea is frantically searching for it. This event
could not come at a worse time as tensions on Korean Peninsula are at
an all time high."

North Korea fires submarine launched ballistic missile toward Japan

North Korea test-fired a ballistic missile from a submarine off its eastern coast on Wednesday, demonstrating a significant improvement in its efforts to build a harder-to-detect means to strike American and allied forces, the South Korean military said.

The missile, launched from near Sinpo, a submarine base, flew 310 miles toward Japan, the South Korean military said in a statement. The statement said that the test showed that North Korea was making “progress” after several failed tests of submarine-launched ballistic missiles, or SLBMs.

All previous such missiles North Korea had launched flew only a short distance, making those flights too brief to be called successful, according to South Korean officials. Missile experts have said that North Korea probably conducted some of its previous tests from a submerged barge, rather than from a submarine, releasing digitally altered photographs to exaggerate its missile technology for its home audience.

Later on Wednesday, in a statement issued after a meeting of its top security officials, South Korea confirmed that the latest North Korean SLBM test had been conducted from a submarine.

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan, noting that the launch marked the first time that a North Korean missile had penetrated his country’s air defense identification zone, where it tries to identify and locate passing aircraft for security purposes, called the test “a grave threat to our country’s security.”

No, but they could kill a lot of people and put a sizable scare in the world economy. NK is nuclear-capable, and borders two of the economic powerhouses in the region, though they have a nominally allied (if lately a bit strained) relationship with one of them. If they can launch a missile from a sub into Japanese airspace, they can launch one into South Korea or China.

This test suggests that the delivery system is pretty far along. Now it appears the size of the warhead is the sticking point.

After its 2013 test and again in 2015, North Korea claimed it had "miniaturised" a device, or made a device small enough to fit a nuclear warhead onto a missile - which the US cast doubt on.

Pyongyang also said the 2013 test had a much greater yield than the devices detonated in previous tests. It was indeed larger in force than previous ones, but monitors failed to detect radioactive isotopes - a key indicator - so uncertainty remains.

Claims of an underground test of a hydrogen bomb in January 2016 were met with plenty of scepticism.

Initial estimates put the blast in the 10 to 15 kiloton range, whereas a full thermonuclear blast would be closer to 100 kilotons.

North Korea again claimed this was a successful test of a miniaturised device, and again it has not been verified.

More like they for some reason decided not to shoot it down. It's impossible no one will not notice something like this...let alone the East Asian country which has invested the most in ABM defence
