Yeah, Two heartbeats.. but this is not out of line with what Tama-chan said about "just likes guys much younger than her".
Nagi's just her type. It's hard to examine her motives with the limited amount of character development she has had.
Over time we may see, but right now she looks either a manipulator or a Cradle robber.
The author will present a third choice, but I never see it coming.

BTW is Tama the most diabolically clever idiot to ever roam the island? She is at once a genius, a fool, and always willing to manipulate all involved.

I like Mike, so I don't want to think ill of her. I will give her the benefit of the doubt though.

To be more precise, they grew, then got really bad (everyone got really weird-looking towards the end of Ai Yori Aoshi), then got better again.

Now that you mention it, there seemed to be a stylistic shift/change towards the end of Ai Yori Aoshi. I kind of blurred through it, but I felt like it was a product of pushed deadlines or the artist losing reference to his earlier work.
The Manga ran from 1998 to 2005, a long timeframe as an artist.
Not apologizing, just sayin'.
I do think Umi no Misaki is better art, and I can see the artist stretching for more.

No sign of it at the "normal places". Perhaps it's taking a "week" off like several other magazines do this time of year?

Given how a majority of anime adaptations turn out these days, I'd have to somewhat agree here but still I'd love to see a anime none the less.

Anyway, when these things tend to happen(I'm referring to when a char visualizes another character, usually in some kind of romantic way), I wonder if there's any significance in the order which he perceives the girls. If it was caused by Mike's acting, then I suppose it has no relevance. Maybe it still isn't relevant, even if it wasn't Mike's acting, since they are shown in "standard" order. I just hope that this isn't some kind of vision where the Maidens like(i.e. he likes Shizuku better than the others).

Hasn't it already been implied that he likes Shizuku more then the others throughout the series?

Well, she's the "main" heroine, if that's what you mean.

But, I'd have to say that he likes this actress the most at the moment.

Chances are that you place a guy who has had no experience with a girl into the same position as Nagi, and result will turn out the same.

& that's why i think she was saved until last. Let there be a full chapter set around her. Plus i can see it ending with the two being found out by Shizuku.
