This episode was meh to me, but I'll let them have a miss once in a while. Different tastes for different people.

I would say at least it should finally shut up those lunatics who think the blonde monstrosity is a girl, but they've all had their SAN drained below zero long ago, so no amount of evidence will ever reach them.

I wouldn't put it past them to claim that the adult form was also female, but just with a very low voice.

And of course, that's denying the fact that Mahiro pretty much sees Hasta as his little brother, but they'll probably chalk that up to an error in the script.

As for the episode, I'm surprised Kuuko didn't go deeper into Mahiro saying she was 'burning hot' when he caught her. That could have led to a big misunderstanding right there.

No kidding. Especially after the "Come?" gag just moments earlier.

Finally got around to watching episode 3, and I'm loving it despite not getting most of the references. Just can't hate a show that doesn't take itself seriously.

Nyarko W 04 - F Mustache/Tamao Market

Bit of a low-key episode (as low key as this show can get), but I enjoyed it. When an episode begins with Gekiranger-themed innuendo (and Wizard donuts - Japan really does sell those, by the way), then I knew I was in for something good. We also have an answer as to how Mahiro gets all those forks. He buys in bulk, and stores them in his inventory for later use. The idea of the Yiths trying to get Tama and Yoichi to open up to the world around them is a nice twist - the whole thing at the end kind of reminded me of the Nibblonians, though I suppose the aliens from Pani Poni Dash might be more appropriate. You have to feel sorry for Tama. She knows she can't win against Nyarko, but doesn't want to be totally ignored either. I do think this plotline will continue in a small way throughout the season, but Cuune's introduction next week is going to be explosive. The Akane to Cuuko's Akari! Sounds exciting.

The new Tamao end is cute, too.

The new episode looks pretty good so far, but Mahiro's romance with Nyaruko still has little progress. Tamao played some more role despite being a secondary character, and more comedic fujoshism is always a good thing in this anime, at least to me. Seems like the next episode is more sexual fanservice oriented given some yuri subtexts and two lovers sharing their baths, but the new character's appearance looks like it might b Kuuko's older sister.

My mind is reeling at the concept of the Shub-Niggurath Gynecology office.

Looks like there's a plot arc coming, which is always nice.

Yaoi fangirl's plight is amusing. I was pleasantly surprised by her return, along with the odd bit involving Shanta-kun, the author's manta-ray-thing avatar, and Mahiro's mother.

Ok, so I'm confused...Is Tamo still going to try and get Mahiro? Thats going to cause trouble in the future friendship wise and a what are those things that more than three people like a person? Not a love triangle but. Now Mahiro has three people trying to win his heartXD I guess his best friend with the glasses has a subplot with that one Yaoi fan girl, I'm confused. Over all, good episode and it looks like it will be getting more crazy for poor Nyarlathotep.

Bit of a meh episode but it's more to break up between longer arcs and get a few small character development stuff out of the way. A bit underwhelmed but next week's gonna turn that around and psshhhhcccc.

And Kuune's coming next episode!!! I've waited too long! Kyaa~! Time for my second favorite character in the series to get some air time. Kuuko... prepare yourself!

It was very amusing watching Mahiro buy forks in bulk, and seeing all three of them react like that. That's right, children, you will respect the fork.

I guess this episode is meant to cover all the side characters and what they do... Congratz on Mahiro's NPC-like best male friend for gaining a trait other than being just Mahiro's NPC-like best male friend

I guess all that non-existent screen time was put to good used after all !

Now he's an NPC-like male best friend who is super-lucky thanks to body-snatching aliens from the future. And... he does nothing useful whatsoever with it because he still has the mind of an NPC.

"Center girl's love affair came to light so she's moving to another group or graduating or something." ...Despise that aspect of idol culture. You're not getting a laugh out of me for that one, Nyarko.
