But why are they beating Diethard? If I recall correctly, Ougi was the one who made the deal about giving Zero in return of Japan. If anyone should be beating someone because of being tricked, shouldn't it be Diethard beating the snot out of Ougi for having relationship with Villetta and willing to betray Zero so quickly?

Because diethard knew about the true identity of Zero. He was hiding things.

Played?

All he did was just hand them the evidence and the truth and nothing else. What they did with it afterwards was up to themselves. They realized that his goals were completely different than what they wanted and how long until he backstabs them like he did with Euphie?

The timing was perfect for Schenzeil as well since the Knights were already beginning to suspect something was up with Zero.

Same thing happened with Kallen, she abandoned Zero to Suzaku's wrath when she found out the truth. Though what happens now is anyone's guess.

Though it works with the britannians since now the Japanese will have to foot the repair costs

Probably off-screen but he's been running his own investigations since S1.

I don't know if he may have known him as Lelouch vi Britannia, but in Season 1, Villetta and Jeremiah wanted Diethard to investigate the student Lelouch Lamperouge. No telling how much he actually knew or investigated into that.

I hope lelouch bonds these two eternally (you know what I mean).

The BK seems too be having problems with out Zero. They've always relied on him during combat and it seems that the deal is off. They won't get japan till they had over Lelouch dead/alive.

Li wouldn't be so enthralled with their betrayals against Zero since the UN technically declared war on Britannia and the BK were just a bunch of mercenaries that used them. Now that BK and Britannia have a truce this doesn't really apply to the UN since they're not the BK. If zero was still the BK leader they'd manage to Schniezel. Now that he's out of the picture he could pretty much conquer the world with out much resistance.

Xingke might be a genius but can't exist everywhere fighting the the KoR. He'll probably remove his support from the BK and use it to defend the UN.

Before they didn't have the death stamp on Nunnally and now they do. When did that happen?

Suzaku isn't joining the BK....the arrow says he shot FREIJA at Area 11.

It apparently happened today after Jeremiah couldn't find them I guess. Guess they made it official when the show itself listed a casualty list.

I thought she might be alive, but if the correlation chart now has her stamped as dead and not missing then she probably is dead. All the characters stamped dead have pretty much stayed that way.
