Not an official source but apparently they are getting the info from Twitter so anyone who understands Japanese can go to his twitter page and check it out. And no I don't have a link.

^ I sure as hell hope it wont be a compilation movie. That would disappoint me to no end.

There's plenty of room left for them to make a movie. In my opinion both the anime and the manga didn't really address what happens to the rest of the character well enough. I know we get a glimpse of them and we got enough of Ed and Al, but I think this is a good chance for them to make a proper epilogue.

Or it might just be a spin-off movie. An extra adventure during their travels (I hope not too).

OR! Since Square Enix would probably want to keep the FMA franchise alive even though Arakawa is probably going to move on to a next project. This might be a good chance for Square Enix to start a new story with new characters and continue it with video games. (Sounds like something Square would do.)

Wasn't that a game? And only one chapter to promote it? If you mean the one with the Prince of Aerugo.

It's "Prince of Dawn" and it's for the Wii.
-> The japanese website

I'm still crossing my fingers for a translation. Would be so nice, specially now that FMA is over.

It would be awkward to post this sort of stuff in the Movie Discussion thread.. But here is a couple of videos about Prince of Dawn, I heard about this game and need it to be translated! (These are in spoiler tags because it sorta strays off-topic)

Spoiler for Trailer:

Spoiler for Key frame from the movie?:

Looks like Yoshimichi Kameda's work.

One of the kanji surnames written on the right is "Nakamura". Yutaka Nakamura maybe?

Not in Japan they don't Japanese movies especially anime have no where near the clout to make movies in 3D, I think the only studio who could make a 3D movie would be Studio Ghibli, and they are known for doing things in the old way and not trying to follow any change.

because i heard the K-on (kyoani) were doing that movie in 3D, I think it would be interesting if it was but i would personally perfer it to be normal

I would prefer the 2D more then the 3D myself to be honest.. I was not totally into the Death Note movie that was in 3D.. So it would be bad if the Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood movie did turn out to be 3D.
