Besides it's not like the "cannibalism" in the game was that graphic anyway. It was more demons eating demons than humans eating humans as well.

I think it's more that the first Devil Survivor is a bit... unsafe to adapt because it references Christian biblical characters, like Cain and Abel.

There's also some reincarnation in the series, which isn't a Christian concept. If a devout Christian watches it and takes it seriously, they probably wouldn't be too happy about it.

Devil Survivor 2 deals with the Akashic record, fate, and astrology, which is much more "neutral" by comparison and isn't as closely tied to religion.

anime hardly concerns about christian/catolic remarks, there are plenty on animes out there with heavier concepts based around catolic faith, seikon no qwaser beign one of the most offensive ones, there is even an anime with jesus and buddha in modern japan coming soon, the only references they usually edit or censor are muslims for obvious reasons.

Japan doesn't give a crap about offending people with the Christian references in the media. Like I said, DeSu 2 was probably chosen because its events are easier to adapt into episodes.

The thought just occured to me but I'd love it if Ryota Ohsaka gets to play Hibiki. He needs more good leading roles and this'll be a far better than a lead in the likes of OniAi. 8D

Will this series be black and white animation like in the trailer or colored like the character concepts not that it matters because the trailer looks awesome but it is a question that needs to be answered & will they release another trailer with audio, I cant wait till April!!!

Pretty trailer, but well...i remember saying the same thing about the persona 4 trailer.

Let's just hope Bridge is a step up from AIC.

And from the DS2A manga, it seems like they're going for a slightly more talkative guy this time around. Plus looks like they kept a bit of that..."weird" nature of his.
