Well that, and in the Interlude she leaves in a disappointed sulk, rather than the "Ufufufu, you'll be mine someday!" that we got in the anime.

Well, I'm glad this is over. Sad to say, I didn't enjoy this much, although I thought I would. Kept hoping it would pick up, but I was bored most of the time. I guess I'm missing something or just otherwise don't understand this show :/
Making burgers and training kids and solving petty disputes just isn't my thing. Had particular gripe with Akatsuki as her relentless RPing just didn't resonate with me and was a source of constant annoyance throughout. I failed to develop any attachment to any other character too, ending up with a blanket indifference towards the whole thing. Most people seem to have enjoyed it though, so I'm convinced it's a matter of me having the wrong expectations for this show (and generally disliking the vast majority of light novels), which is on me Have fun with season two!

It was a nice wrap up episode.
We lost Reynessia inner monologue but the way the Round table handled Marves was also nicely done. The Shiroe/Nureha confrontation was also another gem, Chiwa Saito was a really good choice. I cant wait to watch season 2 |

Season 1 wasn't consistently great but it was still enjoyable at times. I do like the main characters (the adult ones). I enjoyed the strategy plays and the lengthy talks. Hopefully, season 2 will flow better and will emphasize on adult characters. (I didn't watch this for the kiddies. Too much time wasted on that this season.)

Nureha's design hurt a lot in the anime, but how Overlay was depicted more than makes up for it. That aside, there are signs that Nureha was quite hurt by Shiroe's rejection, but of course, this girl has the power to not just give up on him that easily.
The ending slideshow really reminded me of how Another Horizon ended its second season. What's different is that Log Horizon actually gets another season. (Horizon S3 when?) Series #193 GET.

LH novels aren't really kid's stuff; they're british & Violent and that context sets the stage for a brilliant post apocalyptic scenario. The Anime is a bit of a let down; whether I watch S2 will depend on the web reviews |
