Bah starting to lag behind on this one...Episode was nice although it felt pretty blatantly padded out, but the characters are enjoyable so minor gripe at best.

Quite looking forward to the full cast interactions next episode.

Ep4 was quite lovely IMHO, but I'm no manga reader... Didn't like how they edited the trailer music though, cut was quite obvious.

But seriously, the eye is just the same. And i think the pandora teams are lying to Oz somehow, meaning everyone else are not ok! The plot kind of got a hole here, I mean Oz would at least try and see his friends/uncle without them noticing him.

I think the directors could have some sort of motive behind the old Animation, perhaps the Dvds will blow us away is refined, better animation?

I don't see what you are talking about. It's just supposed to be animated like that. That type of animation... The art isn't really collapsing, so there is no need for them to redo the scenes like Code Geass's episode 20 or Nanoha StrikerS.
Well, if they bother to animate it a lot better over again for some reason for the DVDs, fine with me though...

I'm with serenade on this, the animation doesn't been to be done up for DVD's. There's no breaks in the animation --- it's how they wanted it to be displayed. Sure it doesn't fit everyone's taste, though that's no reason to redo the animation for DVD.

Old style animation is bad? No, I don't see a problem with this and actually like the fact that it turned out this way...well it kinda does fit the mood of ye old england.
And so far so good (after just watching ep 2). Alice is lovable as predicted with her psycho moe thing already at full force but I do think that the voice for her is rather mismatched. *shrugs*

It's still a mystery though why gil had such reaction in ep 2. My own speculation is that maybe Gil saw Oz' father among them. Anyway, I hope to see Ep4 soon. n_n __________________

The whole flow of the episode felt weird and everything went lightning fast. Alice is very cute though, nice to see her various expressions.
