I wonder if there is a shield that has an option installed. Like a chain so he can swing it like a mace. Or an enchantment that will let him used as a catapult for a great and powerful magic projectile.

The copy weapon the pope use is weaker than the legendary weapon but it can change form between spear, sword and bow. It can use skills just like the real one. Motoyasu, Ren and Itsuki lose as them because they neglects their "harvest" part, absorbing part only from stronger monster, effectively missing out any abilities they can get from weaker monster which could be used to power them.

The copy sounds more flexible but less overall power.

Of course it sounds like the other 3 heroes power leveled there weapons, but forgot to go back and grind the lower level stuff to fill in the missing skills/buffs. Probably affecting the skill tree pre-req's and multipliers. Power leveling without back filling skills is bad in MMO's

i would guess its has "synergy like on Diablo 2 LOD" (a skill can have bonuses on other skills that rarely been used due weak damage input or combos)

The pope enters in and declare his own intention toward Malty and Motoyasu, and Naofumi and co. to kill all of them and declare that the three heroes are just fake and he managed to kill the Demon Shield. That way, he can see his own church propser, with the heroes of his own. Technically controling the country. Before he makes an entrance, he already taken care of Ren and Itsuki, but they are still alive. The 3 heroes then work together with Naofumi. The 3 heroes cannot defeat the Pope and all lose their MP. Naofumi delivered the final blow and kill the pope. The reaction of 3 heroes after this event: during the meeting of 4 heroes, they stated disbelief that Shield could be powerful and assuming that Naofumi is cheating which is the same as saying that they didn't believe and didn't accept Naofumi's achievement.

Someone ask who is Vitoria: she is the current Filorial Queen, also the Filorial in legend who fought along the previous generation of 4 heroes. Vitoria is interested in Filo and test her to see if Filo is really worthy to fight along with the Hero (or possibly, to see if she is worthy to be the successor of Filorial Queen). Filo passed the test although she is defeated by Vitoria, and is given a "gift" which is an "ahoge".
