A girl(for a change of pace) is always scrambling into a junkyard and buying stuff she takes a liking to and tries to put it back together into an awesome machine. Turns out Tabane was going through the same place for materials and threw away an IS core there. Tabane didn't see the harm because it was a core that she could not completely control(IE some systems were not responsive to recoding

). The girl comes across the core and offers $2 for it... Cue all the random stuff that happens to her mostly running away from IS pilot recruiters and the government.

@ Senpai - Was planning a segment where the parents (mostly the mom) refused to acknowledge Irish as her partner due to his young age and frail appearance........then a renegade pilot attacks them

The two of them manage to subdue the pilot without causing too much damage by working together. This shows the parents that appearances can be deceiving and that their daughter isn't the perfect person that needs no help from others. Of course, after this comes the scene where Papa Sarashiki calls him son in law

Any suggestions?

Sorry, a little distracted. I was talking about that long ago, though not in great detail. No matter what happens, the status difference will made a problem. If you choose the lighter side, then have the parents test him or something. If you choose the darker side... well... the pairing is doomed

@ Senpai - As I said, I'm not even sure about pairing them anymore so I'm not worrying about any romance right now. He could end up alone in the end for all I know.

Side note - By the way, Houki and Rin were offering to tour her, not have Ichika do it. Also, Please don't invite him here

Good thing you were joking. I honestly can't tell if it's trolling or an actual attempt at a fic.

Side note - Actually, I have a minor work around for the romance issue earlier: The Sarashiki family judges potential non/daughter in law's based on skill, not birthright. This would make sense since they're the head of a secret organization. Why would they want an entitled brat leading them when they can have a skilled person from a modest background? In a twist, Tatenshi Tou-san married Tatenashi-kaa-san for this reason: She was a Tsundere and he was a skilled and lovable goofball.

What do you think?
