The demo impressed me a lot and I wasn't alone since it seems it is well received with the Japanese gamers. Its getting a lot of 80-100 scores for the demo on EGS. It seems Sca-ji might have another hit. Well hopefully.

But ultimately its up to the fans and sales to see if a sequel is warranted.
Thats was what he thought when he finished playing the game
and while he was writing Sakura no Uta. So don't be surprised if he writes a sequel.

But not theme wise.

His first words on the matter were that it's thematically complete and further writing may ruin it on the contrary.

He says the final fate is up to the consumers yes but if he feels further writing may spoil the theme, it remains to be seen if he can pull off a proper sequel.

After all, what's the point IMO if he is able to add to the story but spoil its meaning no?

And we all know what a perfectionist Sca Ji is. It may be another five-ten years before the sequel comes if it does XDD

Hehe he took 2 years to write sakura no uta compared to 10 months on suba hibi. I am expecting 4 years for the sequel haha

2 more days and we will finally get to play this... i got butterflies in my stomach!

I played through the Sakura no Uta trial again and i really enjoyed my time.

Love the fun, SoL-style eroge banter and theres a chippy charm about it. there are numerous hilarious moments and it's continously entertaining.. despite the foreshadowing, i actually don't mind if its just a simple moege. i like all of the heroines and i want to feel warm and fuzzy playing their route..

Personally I would hope Sca-Ji never writes pure moege though. He does deep, introspective stuff too well
