Heck, even the show without comparing it to the manga isn't all that great
It became a monster-of-the-week show, and we only have the slight glimmer of hope that is Tsukune and Vamp mode to possibly save us from that... the manga starts out monster-of-the-week, and then you get Vamp Tsukune to liven things up

A "monster of the week" show isn't inherently a bad thing. I could be saying this because I come from the toku fandom where such a format is the bread-and-butter of the show, but even then, it still gives the characters a chance to grow, or at least a chance for entertaining antics to ensue.
Besides, even with Tsukune's change in the manga, there are still plenty of chapters that are monster of the week. There eventually comes a point where the building blocks of a show have to be accepted or else reconsider why you're watching the show to begin with. Asking for a fanservice show on TV without some censoring, for example, is to deny the tropes of the type of show it is. Like I said, view the show for what it is. |

The good news is that he
Spoiler for season 1 ending:
I'm willing to give this anime a chance... I've heard of other series in which the first episode or so sucks, but by the end it's pretty good. I'm hoping we have that case here if not... well, then I hope Gonzo dies a horrible, painful death (even if it means no second season for Tower of Druaga)

This is stupid but while watching the pics posted here a few pages back, I remembered School Days and thought... Nice bat...?
I don't really mind about the bat. Actually, my eyes are a bit slow lately, and they are not fast enough to have a good glimpse of the panty shots So I'll watch hoping to see a good plot and, of course, vamp Tsukune. |

After seeing the new opening on youtube, I decided to download the episode in high quality just for the opening. I love the video and the song, Gonzo did a great job on the opening this time. When I first heard the song, I have no idea how Gonzo is going to make an anime to match the song, looks like they did the perfect job this time. The dance is smooth and realistic (as much as I love hare hare yuukai, it's very hard to it identical to the anime). The high frame rates makes the dance look even better, I'm just wondering was Moka's part model after Nana Mizuki herself, I find the dance very similar to Nana Mizuki's concerts moves/dance.
Since I am a girl, I dislike this sort of genre. I was planning just to watch the first episode, since I downlaoded it anyway just for the opening. Within the first minute of the show, there was 5 panty shots...guess this show isn't really made for me. Waiting for the ending animation *shurgs*

Thief guy? You mean the teacher Medussa teacher?
I don't know whether I want the Hakuto arc to show or not. That arc was like... an enemy one afterthere other, seemed endless, I was releved when he said he was the leader of the AT (I was like "FINALLY!"). I just hope I get to see more of that bat... or maybe not. Will Tsukune and Moka end up together this time around? That's what I'm wondering.

and I'm pretty sure all of us are waiting for the ending... the real ending song/animation Also, by thief guy, I mean the only real major villain we've had so far in SII and of course Moka and tsukune will be together, one way or another- if not in the anime, then in the manga

For some reason the anime reminds me of Ichigo 100%, all about panties >_>.
I still remember in one of that series' OVA where the panties try to take over the world (I know, wtf?!). Hopefully they don't pull out any stupid idea for this anime. Hey, I still have high hopes for it. Also, at the end of S1, Tsukune said he had fallen for Sharingan Moka (lol) so I wonder what he'll do about it now xD.

Of course the easiest thing to do wwould be to keep taking the Rosario off. ... but then that might lead to an increase of blood sucking from her...
The dance parts are modeled off Nana, not just for Moka, but for everyone too. I still can't visualize Mizore dancing that 'energetically' on her own volition. lol And now, sadly, now that I've seen them dance, I WANT AN INNER MOKA DANCE!!

the good thing if we see ghoul tsukune:
Spoiler for manga spoiler:
....if we get a real fight of course for now it has just been: bad guys come, moka transform, moka kick, fight over. haven't watched the episode yet since i have some catching up to do but i sure hope i don't have to take what i read here for fact. since the first season haven't had ANY expectation for the 2s but still pain me to see R+V butchered. (well....seeing that the post are mostly about "gonzo" may be a sign that the anime isn't complain material *remember strike witches*lol ) |
