Information: Masamune Shirow working with Lucent on Squad Project

Not much info for now. Said it's going to be directed by Shirow himself. Movie's about WWIII with the following tagline.

"A battle for the front line mission - I'll cover your back."

I just hope it's done better than Ghost Hound or RD. Those two really disappointed me in terms of execution. Maybe Shirow needed to get some endorphins out of his system, they were just so... happy, overall.

Now that he seems to be getting back to the grittier side of life, I eagerly anticipate this.

wow, directed by Shirow Masamune himself?? This is his first directing isn't it?

Only thing I want to see is the small arms that'll appear in the movie. I liked the stuff in the Appleseed series like the Woodpecker shotgun

Which is a strange name to give to a weapon...
